I was panicking for a couple of days not knowing where my fix of Clarets gossip and global news was going to come from.
What happened?
Anyway, thank you to those that rub the board, and to whoever bright it back online

This board being down will definitely have rubbed a few up the wrong way.

My cold turkey period was horrendous, I was just sat in a darkened room yearning for rumours, panic and in the know information from posters who's mate's mate uncles friend has a box.
I knew I would relapse.
So when are we going bankrupt after realising paying Messi €1000,000 a week was never sustainable.

Ironically the communication about the board being down was terrible.
No website article, no specific tweet etc.
Let he who is without sin cast the first stone and all that

Last time I logged on we were still in the Premier League.
I presume we are about to begin our 7th consecutive season in the Prem.

Living abroad means that this board is the main source of information about the Clarets so I’ve been like a bear with a sore head for the past couple of days.
Many thanks to CT and his team for sorting things out…Yuma really forever in Mrs Suratclaret’s debt!

well no that they have sorted this board can they please sort the other one out quick as it appears all our players have gone, the manager could be gone before he gets here and with all the speculation on who we may sign , Newcastle are putting together a list of all the players we want and offeribg them better deals

Yep. Currently abroad and out of touch… really missed it. Easy to take it for granted when it’s there every time I click on it. When it’s not there, it’s strange.

Me too. Having got myself banned from the Sussex League Forum once for displaying anti-royalist tendencies, I had assumed that anybody who had posted on that "Trooping the Colour" thread something that wasn't totally cap-wringingly-brown-nosey had been chopped until after the "festivities".
I was banned from that forum twice. The other occasion was when a whole stack of players and club officials joined in on a thread called "who is the ugliest player in the league?", which was highly entertaining if you knew who the posters actually were, (something along the lines of Kevin Ball calling out Chris Eagles for his girly locks etc). I remember our goalkeeper, who was, I suppose, quite a good-looking young man, getting a real pasting and giving as good as he got. Even the manager joined in. Bans all round.
