He's not telling!
I thought it might be the "butter" scene in Last Tango. :D

The end of “ The Graduate” , where Elaine (Katherine Ross) is getting married, and Ben (Dustin Hoffman) arrives at the church. The
“”Ben/Elaine” shouts and the escape on the bus - life affirming!

Just about to say that Elwaclaret. First 9 mins of once upon a time in the west.. where not a word is said. You could argue that the fly should have got best supporting Oscar award.. so many classic scenes in this film.

Great film and soundtrack, but not up to Once Upon the Time In the West for me… Ennio Marricone, the man was a genius.

Hans Gruber plunging to his death from the Nakatomi Tower in Die Hard.

It's not Christmas until you've watched that scene for the umpteenth time..

in "The Birds" (Hitchcock), I've always enjoyed the scene wher those little birds come in through the chimney.

I don’t know about Greatest but the end of primal fear Richard Gere and Ed Norton was decent when first seen 😎

I suppose mine is the section of hellzapoppin where chic and ole are sabotaging the performance, but looking at the choices above, I have my doubts that anybody on here knows that.

The harlem congeroo dancers section of the same film is f amazing. Just watch the girls little white socks as they get hurled about the set at 100mph.

Some of my favourites been posted already - I would add most things Enio Morricone did is stupendous case in point the final scene in the Good, the Bad and the Ugly

Anyway, I think for the time and what it did for the film industry this has to be mentioned:

https://youtu.be/4-EwNHerlko

Psycho when Marion first meets Norman Bates & has a conversation with him.

The scene crates an eerie atmosphere as we begin to see Norman start to express some of his ‘demons’ after appearing relatively normal.

A couple of my favourites where the soundtrack really makes it all the more memorable:

The end of the card game in Lock Stock and Two Smoking Barrels: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dnWwbqP6dV4

The church scene in Kingsman: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t1WWDBTda2Y

Not sure that admitting that I like hellzapoppin is either. It's about as close as being if the same genre as most of the other choices on here as cool runnings.

I love Steve McQueen trying to jump the barbed wire fence in The Great Escape.

However, has there ever been a greater opening shot than Julie Andrews in the Sound of Music?

The end of ‘Withnail & I’. So many funny, absurd scenes and so much quotable dialogue in this film but the final scene is beautiful.
