You sure it said Banker ?Paul Waine wrote: ↑Sun Jun 12, 2022 6:16 pmHi CandJ, you can find Alan Pace, Chairman Burnley Football Club and Managing Partner at ALK Capital on LinkedIn. LinkedIn shows him working for Lehman Brothers, Real Salt Lake and Citigroup. Companies House filings show "Alan Gary Pace" as director of BFC companies and as "Alan Pace" for Calder Vale, Kettering, Velocity Sports and ALK Capital.
The appointment of Alan Pace as a director of VAMA Holdings shows his profession as banker. It's possible that his appointment was on behalf of his employer, Lehman Bros. VAMA Holdings isn't shown in his LinkedIn profile.

That’s funny I haven’t seen anyone claim he’s skint? Merely highlighting there’s no evidence at all to suggest he is a millionaire.GodIsADeeJay81 wrote: ↑Sun Jun 12, 2022 5:42 pmThere is no public information as to his net worth because he's a private individual, but he's spent 20 years working on Wall Street in various high powered jobs so depending on someone's outlook, you could either safely assume he's made a good chunk of money and isn't skint, or you can claim he's broke.

My mate installs those fancy door bells, he's doing one for Mr Pace, he's hoping more work comes from it, as he said when he got the call exciting chimes.

A person's view/opinion on Pace and his personal wealth will depend on their outlook.Newcastleclaret93 wrote: ↑Sun Jun 12, 2022 8:16 pmHaha how have I proved your point by saying there’s no evidence about his wealth?

I’m genuinely intrigued by this notion that it should be easy for someone on here to prove that Alan Pace is a millionaire, is there some kind of list or does he have to wear a badge or something?

No, it’s merely highlighted that there’s no evidence to suggest that he is.

Re: Pace’s house
Now go back and look at the context. The poster said off course there is evidence that he is a millionaire.
I said, well it should be easy to prove it.
He has since not been able to prove it so his statement was incorrect.
Re: Pace’s house
Yup. We have been robbed (in broad daylight) of what belongs to us. And there is nothing we can do about it.FeedTheArf wrote: ↑Sun Jun 12, 2022 6:28 pmThat’s because it FEELS like he has.
I’m not saying it’s logical. Logically I know a football club is a business, but in reality it’s so much more than that.
What’s the catchphrase, our town, our turf?
ALK might be the owner, but it’s our club.
Re: Pace’s house
The average pay for a Vice President at a top tier investment bank is £500,000 a year, inc bonus. Pace was at that ‘level’ over 20 years ago. His roles since then, including being a Global Head of a division at Citi, will have been multi millions a year. You add to this the knowledge he will have acquired on investing over the years and it’s safe to assume he will have done very well. Puzzled what ‘evidence’ you are looking for but the above provides enough knowledge to give us strong assumptions.Newcastleclaret93 wrote: ↑Sun Jun 12, 2022 9:14 pmYep I said the same thing earlier. He very well could be a millionaire there’s just no evidence that he is.

Even when you make a nob of yourself you just carry on and on and on. It’s tedious.

I'm sorry, but Newcastle has got to be doing this for kicks.
No way someone could be as dense and as lacking in self-awareness as that.

I couldn't give a shiny one on your opinion regarding Pace's millionaire status. That's a matter for you to worry yourself over.
I'm just amazed that you said it should be easy to prove he's a millionaire. You then said nobody has said it should be easy to prove.
You've made another tit of yourself. Either you're a troll and you'll carry on ruining the thread, or you're a genuine poster who'll now hold his hands up and move on. Up to you.

‘What belongs to us’ we’re a club that’s just spent the last six years in the PL there’s nothing about it that belongs to the fans. What we contribute into the club through tickets and club shop spend in a season probably paid for one commute to training for one of the lads this season value wise.

I absolutely guarantee that my boss, a local man, has a greater wealth than Alan Pace.
Which makes it all the more frightening that he was allowed to buy our football club.

Re: Pace’s house
It doesn't literally belong to us. No-one thinks it does. What "it belongs to us" means is that we as fans have an emotional attachment to the club, and we believe that the club without its fans would be so much less.Milltown1882 wrote: ↑Sun Jun 12, 2022 9:30 pm‘What belongs to us’ we’re a club that’s just spent the last six years in the PL there’s nothing about it that belongs to the fans. In theory there is no reason why the PL clubs need any fans at all, and ALK could take the club to play in the USA behind closed doors and it would still be Burnley FC - legally. But there are all sorts of reason why that would feel wrong, and all sorts of impediments have been put in place to stop it happening - which implies that the powers-that-be feel that way too.
Re: Pace’s house
How much wealth Pace has depends to a large extent on whether he personally owes Burnley FC £112m, or whether he has done it through his companies. I'd would fall over backwards if it wasn't through his companies, so if BFC goes belly up he should have no problem walking away with his investment (all bar £15m-20m) intact.

If you own a half decent house these days you're probably close to millionaire status tbf.
