it was on a thread he started, someone asked him the question - it wasn't the initial tweet. You should know by now I don't make stuff up for the sake of it !!

Simon Davies who was expected to be coming into Burnley alongside Kompany has just gone to Tottenham (Chris Boden).

Makes sense doesn’t it. And falls in line with CT’s comment before on there being multiple appointments.jedi_master wrote: ↑Mon Jun 13, 2022 3:20 pmMaybe it's one of the reasons for all of the delay, no idea.

Tony, some people just can't take subtle hints, it has to be put
in plain and simple English and even then 50% will continue to ask.

Re: Name the next manager
How about people stop hinting and say what they actually mean instead of leaving posts that keep people guessing by interpreting it multiple ways. It just adds to the frustration.2 Bee Holed wrote: ↑Mon Jun 13, 2022 3:30 pmTony, some people just can't take subtle hints, it has to be put

Re: Name the next manager
Getting boring now. I fear for our future with the bathwater entire and everything gone. 12 year olds from now on, if papers to be believed. Lots of entourage with bloke too.
Re: Name the next manager
It would be getting quite funny now all this, if it wasn't so serious....
Can't believe we're now into another week and still don't technically have a manager.

Re: Name the next manager
Just had a quick chat with my friend. It was meant to be announced today, but for some reason it has been delayed. It will be announced tomorrow, with CB as assistant. There has been a delay but the official stance is “work permits”.
Apparently big meeting on Sunday to discuss future of staff/players/recruiting/transfer budget ect

Re: Name the next manager
That’s what I asked! He’s been around BFC for a few days ( sorry friend, I can’t say too much, but my source is very very reliable) maybe I misheard him and the meeting was yesterday, but I don’t think I did. I asked about Transfers, but he didn’t say much. I also asked about statements from the club, he just replied “it is, what it is”

Gotta work that into a song somehow.

Don't really understand some of your post but the entourage being reported surprised me.
Two childhood friends as assistants, one of which seemed to do very little at Anderlecht.

Re: Name the next manager
I've got a friend at the club and I asked him "how are we looking for next Sunday?"
And he said "tee off time available at 9:30"
"And Kompany" I said?
"Well the lady Captain is free!" - he said
"This is an unlikely conversation" I said - "I'll have to rush off and post it on the UTC forum".
"You do that says he " but before you go do you want to hear my Pigeon in distress with head caught in a bike spoke impersonation".
"Oh go on" then" says I
"KA KA KA KA KA KA KA KA KA - silence"
"Marvellous" I said.
Note:
No animals were hurt in the making of this post.

Its probably Alan Pace - wouldn't surprise me if he has been either back in the US following end of season or away on business. Can't think of anyone else who would warrant waiting for them to be available for the announcement

If The media team don’t announce Kompany to the song Chaise longue by Wet Leg then I’ll be massively disappointed….
