Suprised Twine is on the bench
Happy he's fit enough to maybe have an influence. Big things expected of this lad

BPF could be off now if he’s seen as no2.

Not end of world but may be another keeper required soon.

Started left midfield, scored plenty of goals when put up front.

Pre match nerves kicking in.
I haven't got a clue what to expect tonight anything from 4-0 to 0-4 is possible. I know I'd be happy with a point and a good performance.

Don't forget it will take time for these lads to gel into a team, so patience, and to all you lucky Clarets at the game, RAISE THE ROOF.

I know " Madge " has acquired super-model status, and probably doesn't get out of bed for less than £10,000 but is she interested in Championship football, or is she still lazing on a Yacht in the Mediterranean ?

Wonder how Taylor does at CB. Excitement building...

The absence of Jay is a massive blow. You look at the main strikers for rivals, e.g. Sharp at Sheff Utd, and Jay is younger and better.

I can safely say I would never have predicted that lineup.

Taylor at CB, no Jay, Long MIA, Costelloe starting, Twin on bench I presume no fit, Cornet nowhere to be seen. It's definitely got the surprise factor.

Not played the last two friendlies and was on light training sessions in Portugal. I take it he’s not match ready like the others. Will get on from the bench you’d imagine.

Think I’d only risk Twine if we are 1 down with 15 minutes or less to go. Another 45 games to go. Just like I wanted Ben Mee to come off after his first knock in that game where he took further knocks and didn’t feature again.

Interesting line-up from Vinny, didn't expect Costelloe to start that's for sure, and Dodgson and Phillips on the bench, can't deny he's giving the youngsters a fair crack of the whip.

Shame about Jay, but not a surprise given the rumours, Taylor at LCB could be genius, or it could fail badly, but I guess he'll bring some experience.
