There's no limit on total domestic incoming loans.

Only limits are:
Max 5 can only be registered for any one game.
No more than 4 can be loaned to us from the same club (max 2 if over 23).
u21 loanees have to be registered and take room out of the 25 man squad. This is not true of u21 players owned by the club like Costelloe.

International loans are more limited. I think you can only make a total of 8 in one season. The FIFA rules are more complicated. International does list England, Scotland, Wales etc as different countries.

People keep referring to his 'lack of end product' but he's no worse at PL level than McNeil was, somebody who would thrive in this team and at this level. I'm looking forward to seeing him.
