VAR looks to be showing a bit more common sense on those close offsides now. Shame it didn’t when we were in there.

Dortmund collapsed in Klopp's final season with them, same for Liverpool this year?

Alexander-Arnold having a bit of a nightmare tonight.

You can see why he isn’t necessarily first choice right back for England on this showing.

What happened to the mass walkout….. or is that after the ref has blown full time!

I thought that at first but then thought "what is he doing wrong?"

It was Man Utd's ball. He was heading back to the centre circle with it. Why does Salah have more right to the ball than Fernandes?

No way was it a second bookable offence for Fernández. Shame such blatant diving doesn't carry more punishment though.

Understand your point, but think for me the yellow is more down to time wasting, held onto it for around 30 seconds, if that is De Gea now taking a goal kick and spending that amount of time, he would be booked.

But that was because Salah was impeding him. He certainly knew what he was doing but Salah gave him every excuse to do it.

Liverpool were pxxx poor.Gomez is never Premier league standard and Hendo and Milner looked like time has caught them up
Rashford was offside but Oliver bottled at awarding a free kick for offside and again for not sending Bruno off for mauling about with the ball.

The offside/onside decision for Rashford's goal wasn't Oliver's decision, obviously.

I watched the last 10 minutes or so of play acting, rolling around, face holding. A good advert for lower league football.

So much for the organised stay away, or walk out. Same old man u. Great away support, crass at home. Liverpool looked as poor as their shirts. But then they had about 8 players out injured.

Normal service next weekend please and another "embarrassing" defeat at Southampton.

I don't think the board here will be too grumpy. They couldnt both lose.

2-1 flattered Liverpool somewhat.

Martinez looked excellent tonight, although I think he might continue to struggle against physical teams.

It looks like there’s no way back for Maguire, though, so it’ll be interesting to see if he continues to get picked for England.

Strange that the manager kept him as captain and publicly announced it.

I thought Trent Alexander was lucky to be on the pitch. He did one blatant trip very early on to stop a United attack, a free kick was given but no yellow. He repeated this and got a yellow. Generally though he looked pretty good.

Utd finally show they can compete when they put their minds to it.

Liverpool's slow start to the season continues, and they keep leaking goals.

I still think they're missing Mane, he was often the one who injected energy into their press.

Klopp aka Mr Ed Grass too long. Too dry.
