Couldn’t settle
Only been here 2 months!
I couldn't settle in Burnley either. However, it took me 16 years to realise it.

I'd imagine we'll be linked with a ton of players as agents try and move their players in the final few days of the window. Hopefully this Chukwuemeka is exactly that, just a bs rumour because he doesn't appear to be that great.

Yep. In which case we can hope to see a move for the next target on the list.

Just read there's a shortage of private jets about for Premier league clubs to use.
Should make it near impossible for any last minute deals on deadline day.

Based on Andy Jones Athletic article this morning, I think we can forget about the Metz pair.

It can all be done remotely now. Half of our medicals this summer have been conducted overseas and contracts can be signed anywhere.

Does this even matter with networking etc? Haaland had his medical in Belgium, I think.

Nixon thinks VDB may now be going to Schalke.
Definitely not us because we wouldn’t guarantee the number of games that Liverpool are insisting on

The manager called him out because of his attitude whilst on loan at Livingstone. Absolute NO from me

Dare we dream that Moyes has had a close up look at Cornet and is willing to loan him back for the season, covering the difference in wages to get him game time under VK?

Maybe VK’s “expect the unexpected” comment was because he knew we all expected some more signings

they can do certain things remotely but they’ve all been completed in this country as normal in the proper way .

I think it was going to be done in Paris due to the visa issues, but they were resolved quicker than usual, so done here as normal.

May I ask, as in the case of signing a player who has an injury ie Naki Wells types in the past or maybe shortly the player from Coventry. Does the medical report carry Caveat’s as to the players recovery to full fitness or limitations on restricted movement/ chances of complications/the same injuries occurring in the future.

Can’t imagine why we’d reduce the fee if he was doing well.
Knowing Wout he’ll probably be looking for a better gig than Besiktas if he has a good year there.

Yes most definitely - which is why clubs do sometimes sign an injured player . A report would be prepared and decision taken by whoever is responsible for the ultimate decision in any given club ,

Anass Zaroury announcement probably delayed by the Bank Holiday.
Media people not available until tomorrow, but Zaroury may already have signed, so could even be in the squad tomorrow?
I always was an optimist.
