It can all be done remotely now. Half of our medicals this summer have been conducted overseas and contracts can be signed anywhere.

Does the medical report carry Caveat’s as to the players recovery to full fitness or limitations on restricted movement/ chances of complications/the same injuries occurring in the future.

Yes most definitely - which is why clubs do sometimes sign an injured player . A report would be prepared and decision taken by whoever is responsible for the ultimate decision in any given club ,
