I remember standing on the wooden cricket field terraces before singing really started and I do remember singing the Aye Aye Aye song, but I definitey sang:
Aye, aye, aye aye
Thomson is better than Yashin
Harris is better than Eusebio
So Blackburn are in for a thrashing (the name of the team would change dependant on whom we were playing).
I'm not saying the other version with McIlroy and Blacklaw didn't exist, but I certainly don't recall it.
Before these times, the first time I heard a song being sung in unison was when we played the Rovers. When the somewhat portly Rovers' goalie Harry Leyland (name?) approached the goal at the beginning of the match, the crowd started singing "Roll out the barrel" pointing at poor old Harry. I suppose it's more respectful than "You fat *******".

Can't remember any from my earliest memories ...
But would probably say "Jimmy Mullens Claret and Blue Army" from the early 90's
My Stepson and his 1st wife (she was German) came on with us and their 2 German Friends ovrr for a Holiday (Stefan and his GF Shalke fans) we were playing Hull City in the 95 season if memory serves and Tanya thought we sang "Carrot and Poo" army.
Her German Friend was in bits laughing as Tanya was translating some of the stuff we were saying about the Ref etc.
Went to watch a couple of Shalke04 games at that time whilst on holiday in Germany with Stefan (still got the 2 pennants he sent me) hanging in my office upstairs.

remembering the old longside days from 70's/80's - whenever we got a corner, the single chant of 'Burnley' just getting louder used to make then hair stand up on the back of your neck (well it would if I had any then, I was but a youngster!)

Same as Bazer in first post. Blacklaw is better than Yashin.
As for the corner chant of Burnley we used to do it all the time in the seventies .Its a shame its died out. When Millwall do it it always sounds good.

I used to like the 60's version of paddy mgintys goat !
Oh his name is Gordan Harris he's the leader of our team
the greatest team, that, the world has ever seen
Their name is Burnley FC and they play in Claret and Blue
and when we win the league this year we'll sing this song to you......
Na na na naa, na na na nah nah....etc
Use to be a great song based on the US marine Corp song
Might be slightly different versions but basically,
From the banks of the river Calder to the shores of Tripoli
We will fight fight fight for Burnley till we we the football league
To hell with Man Utd , to hell with Liverpool
We will fight fight fight for Burnley till we win the football league!!

For the slightly younger ex Longsiders amongst us their first song might have been “your going home in a f@cking ambulance”.
They were rough times in the early 70’s.

The above are all before my time really
Not a chant - but as a boy, I do recall a constant one man diatribe lasting many seasons to all of our number 9s shouting 'Come back Paul Fletcher - all is forgiven'
I never saw Fletch play but it left me in awe of the man. And made me wonder what he had done wrong exactly

There was an advert for eggs with the jingle
‘E for B and be your best’ ‘E for B’ being eggs for breakfast
When Man Utd came to the turf they were singing
‘E for B and Georgie Best’
It amused me when we replied
‘E for B and Ralphy Coates’

Come tiptoe, through the Longside
With your boots on
Get your head kicked in
Come tiptoe through the Longside with me.

When we used to shout "Buuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuurrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnley" when taking a corner. I hadn't a clue what was being shouted but it seemed fun to join in so I just went "Arrrrrrrrrrrgggggghhhh"

There's a notice on the doorstep
saying "welcome unto thee".
It's a note from Bl@ckburn Rovers
saying "we're going to Wembly".
Don't believe 'em, don't believe 'em
for it's a a pack a lies.
If it weren't for B@stard Rovers
this would be a paradise...

Not a chant, just the NHS looking through the STD records of the town.
