Re: EFL investigation ?
Could the 'source' be a disgruntled Evertonian.

Re: EFL investigation ?
That may happen down the line if they get through the next few years and re-establish themselves in the Premier League - and to be honest if that is what they achieve then there will be only a small number who will bear a grudge, the vast majority only care about what happens on the pitchNonayforever wrote: ↑Fri Sep 09, 2022 10:41 amThey are now - they just bought a football club with someone else's money.

Re: EFL investigation ?
probably time to merge this thread into the takeover thread given that is where this topic was first raised and is still being discussed

Re: EFL investigation ?
Why would Evertonians be disgruntled
Their owners took the pxxx with questionable financial dealings and dodged any sanctions by the gutless fools running the Premier league
They should have been relegated with a hugh penalty points deduction but the Premier league chocked and let them spend for fun

Re: EFL investigation ?
I'm sure the EPL would have checked everything out with their rigorous 'fit and proper' test.
Of course, I'm talking shite.

Re: EFL investigation ?
Maybe just be a load of fluff…. But can you imagine the level of “bed wetting” on here if there’s even a grain of truth in this?

some folk will be absolutely delighted!
Having said that, if there is really an investigation into this, at this stage, then the EFL need to be investigated themselves. If there’s any truth in it, it should really have been sussed at the start by those looking into the arrangement so heads should roll.
