Thanks West Mid. Will give it a day or two then. Were you one of the clarets that met (at least once), in the pub in Warwick with a group of half a dozen local clarets, round about 2009. I think it was to watch Blackburn v Burnley under Brian Laws being shown on SKY in the pub

I was in the Warwick pub for that game. Used to live in Kenilworth but now in the West Country. Westmids_dave who used to post on the old board was there too. Give me a clue who you are?

Its Bruno-used to live in Pillerton Priors. Started up a group to watch the Spurs v Burnley League Cup semi finalWestWiltsDave wrote: ↑Thu Sep 22, 2022 8:24 pmI was in the Warwick pub for that game. game in a pub in Warwick town square, and then we stayed as a group watching about 3-4 games in a pub in Warwick town square. Two of the games were the Play off games v Reading. We moved to a rough old pub on the outskirts of Warwick to see Blackburn v Burnley. For that game several clarets from Birmingham attended It was the last one I joined-I think it disbanded after that. I recall a David who worked at Gaydon for one of the vehicle manufacturers,he was a scooter fan, and Andy Beaumont a dentist from Kenilworth who kindly got me the Play Off Final ticket v Sheff Utd. They were good times

We’re talking about the same Dave. Used to run soul nights at the Nelson Club in Warwick. We were founder members of the briefly in existence West Midlands Clarets…as was the famous Rowls!

Thanks Dave for confirming. There was also a man and wife claret who came a few times-may have lived in the Coventry area. Was that Rowls. Went to a lot of the home gamesWestWiltsDave wrote: ↑Thu Sep 22, 2022 9:00 pmWe’re talking about the same Dave. Used to run soul nights at the Nelson Club in Warwick. Re: Coventry away ticket
Doesn’t sound like Rowls. Station Inn was the Rovers game.
