You are a proper muppet on these match threads aren’t you.

Every single time. Embarrassing.
He certainly is. But he's far from alone.

Until we stop giving goals away it doesn't really matter.
We just kept two cleans sheets on the spin.

2 more points thrown away to a very poor Brum team.

Really poor that. Brownhill looked like he’d been space jammed absolutely dire tonight. But a point away from home at a side who’s won their last 2 games…. Take it and move on.

When you don't play very well, you are happy with a point

Silly goal to concede though as we shouldn't be caught like that when 1-0 up with ten minutes to go

Great goal by JBG though

Feel like I've seen that match 100 times, same mistakes, same lack of tempo, same team, same problems.

Are we just going to concede every time a team crosses from our left hand side whilst Vitinho is at left back? Can we just not win 1-0? Why is Rodriguez playing in midfield? Come off the pitch having played at tempo for like 5-10 minutes max, the rest at snails pace.

I’m a massive Muric fan but that was a clear weak point that needs improvement. Not cost us yet but needs tightening up quickly.

We get a reasonable draw against a Birmingham who played about as good as they can and we suddenly see some of the recently quiet Dyche sycophants appear who seem desperate for us to falter so they and criticise the current team.

Its pretty sad and made even sadder that these were the kind of posters who lectured people last year on how they should get behind the manager and the team

That should be a return to reality for some of the more giddy ones. We struggle to put back to back good performances together. But importantly we still seem to avoid defeats when we don’t play well. Game management must improve from the manager but also from the players on the pitch. Kamikaze stuff at times.

Still unbeaten, an away point, still positives to be had.

Just frustrating that we blow yet another lead. For all VKs positives, as a defender he needs to get them to play with a hell of a lot more nous.
We are our own worst enemies, when it gets to those last 10 minutes. we make the wrong choices, and it is probably down to lack of leadership, lack of experience at the back. These lads need to grow up quick.
With hindsight I don't know who is in charge at the back, who does the shouting, who does the organising, who points out the dangers.

They managed the game well read us and stuck to their game plan .
We had one shot on target so they well in the end .
Move on to Saturday .

We have two styles of play one is a cure for insomnia and the other is fast exciting forward play, I know which one I prefer.

I fancy us at Sunderland, and I’d be more than happy with four points from these two fixtures. Birmingham were in form and you can see why - I’d say they are the best team we’ve faced bar possibly West Brom.

Sometimes you just have to say fair play - they almost entirely nullified our style with their pressing and were physically very strong and fit.

I am convinced Vinny will not be happy with the performance and have them very up for the Stadium of Light. I pray that Beyer and Maatsen are back as Roberts at RB and Taylor at CB is, I believe, quite significantly a downgrade on the Swansea eleven.

Brownhill and Rodriguez were appalling all night, Dervisoglu still doesn't get a sniff.

How are we getting caught out on the counter attack 2v4 at 1-0 up away from home with 10 to play?

A point is fair, not at it today, but frustrating to now have thrown away 5 leads in the last 15 minutes of games. Preston the 6th lead thrown away was of course earlier.

On the plus side, we haven’t been behind since mid August which is an amazing stat. Lucky not to be tonight, mind.

Yeah but we’re sh!t because we conceded to a well organised Brum team who looked good…

Mind boggles sometimes ;)

I’d have taken a draw before kick off, when we scored we could and should have held on to win, but we didn’t because they played well enough to earn an equaliser.

That was awful.
The pitch contributed
Birmingham contributed (fair play to them)
The fact we have nobody to replace jay with when it isn’t working contributed
But most of all our poor decion making in and out of possession was the main factor. Some of the passes were abysmal and some of the movements we made as bad

Disappointing result and performance but we didn't lose, again. Being hard to beat is a good foundation to build on, especially in this league when anyone seems to beat anyone. If we can have a purple patch and win 4 or 5 on the spin we'll be in a very good place. I still think we overplay at times and lack a cutting edge in too many games. Still a very decent start to the season though.

We will be fine. How many people thought we would be in the position we are at the start of the season? VK says we will be stronger after the WC so we have to trust in him. I do as he has pretty much done the impossible in getting a brand new team to 3rd in the league at this early stage. Most teams that change their style end up struggling at the bottom. We have been spoiled with the start so impatience is getting to some.

We should be able to see games out better but we have to remind ourselves that we have a good number of young players in the team. This is what can happen as they learn along with the chopping and changing at the back from game to game which never helps. Could prove a good point as Birmingham are in form and are certainly one of the better teams that I’ve seen us play. We are better suited to the back 4 from Saturday I think and hopefully Beyer and Maatsen are back on Saturday.

Rubbish, they pressed as well as any team has all season, their midfield 3 were very impressive, full of energy and decent enough with the ball. Hannibal was probably the best player on the pitch despite his theatrics.

It’s a tricky one as Maatsen should be first choice left back on form, not sure what Taylor adds in this team out of position. I don’t think either can play left wing either well.

Poor from VK - needs to recognise that we can play 5 subs - lots of players looked jaded and needed replacing. How to take a throw in should be top of the list for the next training session as well

it's funny how we actually managed the aerial bombardment and gave a goal away on the ground. For all peoples moaning about us being bad with balls in the air, I saw a stat from Saturday that we won the most headed balls in the league.
