Somebody tell Campbell to stop talking over Phil Bird when PB is describing live action.

JBG offers v little these days, Roberts too inconsistent, as for Barnes...he lost it a long time ago, and Beyer is a better fit than Taylor. The 4 players they were swapped for are massively more effective in this system

One proper CB on the pitch, a right back playing left back, a right back playing with no confidence because he's the fan's new Hendrick and Barnes up front, only going to be one result

Thanks Buxton

I tried that and got on initially but it stops after a minute or two.

I’m on my phone so not sure if that’s making a difference.

And they are both better than Westwood.

I said it days ago and posters like Spice disagreed when I said we don't just need a striker, we need a midfielder. I stand by it. We need 3 players in January.

We need a forward, but we also need a CB so Taylor never has to play there again, and a midfielder to help Cullen and Cork out.

Lot of nonsense from some people being said. We are poor today and i think the defensive line is to high. We are playing a bit to slow and predictable as we have done for portions of the season….

Interesting. This thread is 50% Barnes comments. Ridiculous. How about the Backline and keeper. Cullen has been awful. Wingers non existent. Keep blaming the guy who is the highest up the pitch. What at a joke

Absolute dross today. Said it before will say it again, will gladly see Taylor and Roberts go in January. Barnes should’ve gone two years ago too and has JBG touched the ball yet?

Jack Cork has 4 yellows, maybe that is part of why he's on the bench today.

It’s a load of ********, we have a squad of fit young men and a few over 30’s.

How often did Dyche rotate his tiny squad in each of his automatic promotions? I don’t remember the likes of Joey Barton, David Jones, Michael Duff, Jason Shackell, Dean Marney and the other ‘ageing players’ requiring molly coddling.

Your best team should play until it physically cannot, end of. Unless Jay and Cork are injured, I do not understand the thinking when the weakening with them not starting is so severe.

Taylor looks about as much of a centre back as he would as a striker.

Get Roberts off for McNally to play alongside THB, Vitinho to right back, Taylor to left back. Get people into their actual positions.
Exactly what I’ve just said to my mates, verbatim

Very frustrating to see repeated mistakes from VK - especially after winning two on the bounce prior

Twine dependent but I’d be pushing more for a 10 and another striker, in January. Brownhill could be used further back if required.

A long term Cork replacement and interim understudy wouldn’t b go amiss though.

They want it more than us. That is clear. We are really going to have to change things at half time. Fair play to Sunderland, completely outworking us.

Sunderland are first to every ball. We've had our heads down, shoulders slumped since the first whistle. Zero of the confidence and swagger we've seen this season. Passing is dire, running into blind alleys, terrible through the middle and worse out wide.

Kompany's cocked it up but also the players have just not been at it. They need a right bollocking at half time.
