Re: Norwich thread
Playing wide so far, giving us lots of possession but very little to work with in front of the goal.
Not exactly alarmed at lack of chances so far but we need to start getting on goal a bit more before the half is out

Re: Norwich thread
Why give it less to Zaroury when their rb is on a yellow.

Re: Norwich thread
Well from the 20th minute onwards that was slightly boring.
Good football and dominating the game, but we need to be better at breaking down teams and create better chances.

Re: Norwich thread
Decent half. Look comfortable, just need to punish them more in the final 3rd.
Keep giving it Zaroury.

Listening on Clarets+,
Every time Norwich get the ball Phil Bird almost kaks himself

Re: Norwich thread
Good first half for me, but we need to convert the chances. So dominant and we do look dangerous in the final third.
Just need that goal (and then a second soon after for us to compensate for the usual last minute goal for the opposition!)

Can see Benson on for JBG in the second half.

Re: Norwich thread
Outstanding half. More of the same and we will win this. JBG slowing things down a touch.

Re: Norwich thread
You have to say Norwich defended well , now not much up front but if they get a chance well you know .
Just need the ball to bounce for us in their box and it will all change . 4 goals in the 2nd half anyone .

Re: Norwich thread
All we need is a goal for all our possession hopefully it will come in the second half . And give Zaroury the ball to run at the full back who's on a yellow card .

Re: Norwich thread
I'm in agreement with jen , why aren't we giving the ball more to Zaroury to run at the fullback ? Benson for jay and put tella upfront maybe after 60 mins . That'll give Jay 15 minutes to prove me wrong as usual .

Re: Norwich thread
Started very brightly and looked a threat but as the half drew on Norwich got to grips with us and despite all the possession weren't looking that dangerous last for the last 15 mins.
Norwich have had to do a lot or running off the ball so Benson should be a good 60 min sub to stretch them but this is where we could really do with a decent 2nd choice striker to bring on and help chase a goal
7/10 first half but need to step it up to an 8 or 9 if we're gonna win

Re: Norwich thread
Good half from us. Ref bottled it with the second yellow for theirs. Phil Bird making me laugh by referring to Sargent as 'The American' almost every time he mentions him, like its an episode of Stranger Things

Was never a second yellow imo
Re: Norwich thread
Really intriguing to watch, some magical moments with zaroury and some brilliant passing and movement from us, so fluid at times. We'll get that final ball in the 2nd half, sure of it.
Anyone watching on Clarets+ and is the commentary ahead of the picture just a bit?

I'd like to Dervisoglu on at 60 mins...
Re: Norwich thread
Commentary was ahead of the pictures against Brum last week. Really annoying but it corrected itself at some point during the game. Zaroury looks fantastic doesn't he? Gets better with every game he plays.

Re: Norwich thread
Plenty of the ball as you'd expect but struggling to create that one big chance to open the game up.
Benson would be an ideal sub to introduce.
