Looked sloppy on the right side with vitinho I would swap him with Roberts as they are causing us problems that side with the young full back Bramhall . And hopefully Benson to come on against their defence .

Maatsen is giving them the greatest problems with his speed and direct running. Zarourry and Tella not on their games tonight, neither is Vitinho
And yet Zaroury probably ought to have 2 assists to his name. Great ball at the end that Jay unluckily flicked wide, but he also laid it on a plate for Tella

Some frustrating moments but plenty to be positive about

Creating chances galore, expect the floodgates to open in the second half

Sky red button coverage is good tonight, slightly better resolution and Guy Harvard who talks intelligently.

A godsend after having to miss these last 2 matches due to illness.

We often leave a weak spot between RB and RCB, we've conceded a few from that area all season, and got away with a few.

They all go ball chasing instead of leaving it to the one defender and defend the box. Did it at Sunderland for their first goal. 5 men round the ball and nobody marking the back.

Rotherham playing well and giving us problems. But they looked to be leaving more and more gaps as the half went on. Like the look of Wiles for them. Good player and only young I think. Interesting that they haven’t shown the goal line technology when we had one cleared of the line

Definite THB error that goal, ball watching and didn’t have a clue what Wiles was doing despite him starting in his eyeline, he should have told Beyer to take his man and dropped back to Wiles. Becoming a regular issue.

Young player though, makes a few errors but far more good than bad. Still all to play for.

I think we are shocked that they are having a go. Everyone else has just blocked their goal.

Actually there's a fair bit of ball watching going on tonight.

3 bids yes

Interestingly their fans were calling for him to be dropped for this game

Tighten up at the back and we will win , they will get tired at the back .

Vitinho and Maatsen are okay going forward but I worry about their defensive capabilities. We are good enough to get a couple of goals to win here though, coyc.

He is running well but had sold players short on some lazy passes but he's far from alone on the latter. Couple people also over dribbling rather than passing - opposite problem to what we've had in the past with too much passing instead of runs.

Agreed. Havord is very good. Doesn't feel the need to talk constantly. Always liked him since his Radio lancs "Claret and Blue armada" commentary in the Plymouth game...

I'm possibly unpopular in this but not convinced by Bellis yet. If we go up I'd be concerned even if we kept him at the goals we'd concede. Not a bad player but prefer the look of Beyer.
Will never happen but I'd consider bringing Taylor back in for Bellis for a game or two.

Desperately missing Cullen to take the ball from Muric, THB or Beyer and start things moving.
