Why mention Dyche? Stupid. Dyche players didn't sit down and feign injury.
Because when I moaned about Reading's time wasting, I was informed it was hypocritical of me due to being accepting of similar under Dyche. It wasn't stupid of me, it was caveating my opinion to try and avoid being criticised by the members of this messageboard who enjoy arguing. Clearly it didn't work as it has still happened

. I know full well Dyche never did anything even remotely approaching last night (save for, perhaps/ish, Stoke City away in 2014, 1-2 win to us).

No it wasn't, no you can't.
It wasn't clear who that hit last, it ricocheted about and looked just as much that it could have bounced of Benson and hit their defender. The liner had a better view that either of us, and he gave it to us.

That's absolutely embarrassing
I'm loving how wound up other team's fans are getting this season.

Doesn’t matter if the lino had a better view as the decision was wrong. Watch the footage again, it’s not hard to tell.

2 of their players laughing and joking when 2-1 up when their number 11 fell over and stayed down near the cricket field late on.
Not so much so after the final whistle. Karma

It was their throw but earlier in the game the ball went out a foot over the line and we didn't get the throw, so rounds and swingabouts innit.

Apparently it's now called " Game Management "
Another example of this innovation appears to be a player requiring treatment on demand from the bench whilst the rest of the team go for a time out coaching session on the touchline.

I have watched the footage, and I still say it's anyone's guess who it hit last, to say it clearly comes off Benson is ridiculous.

Whilst watching highlights of the game on YouTube just now, I stumbled across the below (link), a Rotherham podcast.
Look, we all have a bit of bias towards our own club - it’s almost impossible not to have some no matter how hard we might try to see things as honestly and neutrally as possible. This takes the absolute biscuit though

.

Yes the ref for all his faults wasn’t having any of the time wasting. We’ll done to him for adding the time he did in both halves.

Good god all you people whining about the throw in ... you need to let it go ... it was not given to Rotherham ... It was awarded to Burnley end of story

The Ref was a nightmare for 90 minutes ... but didn't allow the blatant timewasting go unpunished ... he added 10+ minutes ... its a shame more refs didn't do this ...

They seemed decent level headed guys on their preview. However they have a seriously odd take on what happened.
The older guy blaming the referee for getting Bramall sent off because of the silly first booking."He gave himself a decision to make". No he didn't. The player knew he was on a yellow and gave the ref the decision to make. How about blaming your own player?
They have a serious inferiority complex too. Proper little club syndrome. Woe is us. Worlds against us in the "big" league attitude.
At no point do they concede they did anything wrong. All accounted for..all the refs fault..all our "big club" cheating.
It really is quite a remarkable view of the game.

Have to contribute to this thread as many of the Rotherham comments on the BBC report were constantly insisting we are only romping away with the league due to our parachute payments, and many Burnley fans were having to inform them that the reason we were able to recruit as many players as we did in the summer was mainly due to selling several high earners for big bucks.
And if the PP were a guarantee of success than every club which received them would be strolling back to the Prem, however as we well know this isn't the case.
They also were adamant that we are only a stepping stone for Vincent Kompany, I suspect we all know he'll go on to bigger things without Rotherham fans needing to point it out.
I always thought Rotherham were one of the more sensible fanbases but seemingly not if those comments are anything to go by.

As an overall view of all the post match analysis from their fans, they come across as having a serious case of little club syndrome. That the Championship to them is what the Prem was to us. Bigger club bias..unfair advantages etc
Perhaps the view of our status has changed over the last few years and these clubs see us as a big scalp now. Takes some getting used to when in the past teams like Rotherham were often our equals and competing evenly with us. Runners up to us in our 4th division winning season for example.

if you slow it down to 25% you can clearly see it came of Benson. Irrespective, their player should have defended, not let Benson have it for free from the resulting throw

Did the linesman get to slow it down to 25%

….and it would have been immaterial if Wes Harding had done his job rather than arguing the toss….

Exactly! why bother arguing with an official who isn't going to change his mind.

We’re not a big scalp in the Championship, we are THE biggest scalp this season at least.
