It was a game crying out for Roberts and Taylor.
Vitinho and Maatsen offer plenty going forward, but nothing defensively, they don't stop crosses, get caught out of position.......

We can have a lightweight defence who aren't tall, if that's how VK wants to play. What that means though is you need a really commanding keeper who can command his six-yard box and give the defence confidence that he's gonna take everything that comes into the box, and relieve some pressure. Unfortunately, he's not that type of goalkeeper hence we have these types of games

Edit: we need a new goalkeeper January to rectify this deficit in the team, it's a real weak link.

We were lucky to be 1-1 at ht never mind winning. Vk should have then gone 3 at the back as it was obvious we were struggling against 2 decent forwards.

So many horrible performances today. Its unreal. Tella both fullbacks (again) keeps a joker end of. Cullen poor. Gudmundson shouldn't be near this team for me.

It’s a shame, we looked really bright in phases. But big athletic quality players have bullied us in the second half.

The concerning factor is every team in the prem is littered with players like this.

THB and Beyer are good footballers but defensively they are just not top quality.

Big week to recover and go again. Even after this thumping I think we have shown we will have more than enough for Blackburn thankfully.

We've lost every battle this half. Yeah there's an offside and the 4th is a bit dubious but every 50 50 we have lost.

We struggle in the air in the box and Sheffiekd have exploited that ruthlessly - thats shell-shocked them and now we look all over the place

There have been some glaring negatives in today’s performance. You’re on a football message board so yes, expect people to say things as they see it.

Nothing has been spoiled other than you digging out posters for not being positive. What the hell has there been to be positive about in this half?

I don’t agree, THB and Beyer haven’t been great in stopping the first header. However, You can not deny that Muric has been a liability here. How many corners has he given away because he can’t come out and claim the ball.
