Just set off driving with the heating on full, the windscreen is clear in about 5 minutes.

Surely everybody knows the roads around where they live like the back of their hand?

Top tip: When it's snows and freezes on the windscreen, simply clear a tiny gap to see out of and pretend you're driving a tank.

Camp Mode - Drops the fluffy dice from the hidden ceiling compartment, gets the temperature up to a point where you're comfortable in leather shorts and fires up the Best of Right Said Fred on the stereo.
That's actually the light show functionality...

Believe it or not, I had a Renault Megane from new for 6 years from 2001 and did exactly as suggested above throughout the life of the car and never had a single issue.
I once cracked my window doing this. It also startled a nearby swan which proceeded to break my arm.

Buy a car with heated windscreen. Done in a minute🙂.
Many Ford cars have a heated windscreen, it’s the only thing I really missed when I changed my car. Do any other manufacturers offer it on their ‘mid-range’ cars?
