Cullen and Cork have been superb since we scored. Proper ratted it out and got their arses in front of players before dropping for free kicks. Very good.

I can see why Stoke are where they are in the league. They haven't tried to play football tonight, just tried to stop us from playing.

Didn’t play the best, but the best teams pick up 3 points when they don’t play well.

Phew. Big 3 points
Long way off our best but that's credit to Stoke for not allowing us to play.

At the end of the day it's the same 3 points as if we've had a swashbuckling performance

Swans 4-0 up on Watford so a tougher game Monday.

No wonder the stands were empty.

Stoke were awful to watch. Admittedly, we weren't much better in our prem days but I don't understand why they brought all these big units on but didn't attempt to pepper our box.

As Commy said, you can see why Stoke are where they are.

Hard fought and ugly. Type of match you need to win to win championships. Cullen and Cork were really good along with the the 2 central defenders.

He was excellent for that spell when we were struggling and was routinely great with his feet bar once in the 1st half.

MOM for me would be Cullen for his game killing and getting his first goal.

Precisely the kind of ugly win you need to grind out sometimes over the course of a long season.

Feels like a really important 3 points does that.

Another clean sheet to boot, and only conceded 1 in 5 now.

Big gap to those chasing now.

GET IN!! Effin awful game of football not helped by Stoke’s intent on destroying anything resembling football and the refs inability to do chuff all about it.
10/11 more wins needed?

Watford have Sarr who plays when he feels like it and Pedro who is their main player and injured for about 2 months. They will do well to stay in the play offs.
