M65 closed?

Post by TheFamilyCat » Sat Jan 14, 2023 11:46 am

Just checked traffic for the journey over and seen this. Anyone know what's going on?
Is it a full closure or due to an incident?

Google maps has been saying that for a few weeks but it's been open both times I've been on it. Think it's an overnight closure.

I drove from Burnley to Blackpool every day this week and it’s only been roadworks and people ignoring the reduced speed limit.

JCT 10 has been closed since dinner time, a car is hanging over the slip road.

We passed that at 2pm, it must've just happened. Very fortunate not to go over.

FYI - if you click on the line, it'll normally give you a very brief detailing as to why and how long for if its planned.

Credit where credits due covering that sort of mileage without making allowances to stop & reporting back 14 mins later is some fair going, foot to the floor at Walton summit to junction 7 accrington it’s taking me at least 15 & that’s with a tonne of lead in the boot downhill passing Blackburn.
