Won't go into detail but I and my 10 year old grandson encountered some real tossers effing and jeffing and giving it large in/around the Cricket Club before the game.
Think I celebrated the goal against them more than the ones against Rovers.

Absolutely despicable really in the context that people were supposed to be honouring & respecting what the silence wax supposed to be about, drunken boneheads not knowing what’s what doesn’t cut the ice just immature selfish attitudes inexcusable!

Re: Minutes silence booing/noise
Reading the Coventry forum it appears that fans in the concourse did not hear any announcements about a minutes silence and I can imagine that the tannoys in the CF stand aren't the best.
I think that one of the reasons we often have clapping instead of minutes silence is because of things like this.
Though I always do wonder why someone feels the need to shout "shut up", that then causes a ripple effect with someone shouting "shhhhh" etc.
99.9% of people will always observe a silence and the 0.1% probably would too if they knew about it.
No set of fans are perfect.

Re: Minutes silence booing/noise
Reports on here suggest they were in their seat positions at the time of the minutes silence.

You'd think they would respect acts of remembrance with that in mind really.....fidelcastro wrote: ↑Sat Jan 14, 2023 10:09 pmI can't take a club who have an elephant on their club badge seriously.

Their own forum highlights a group seated were signing 'Burnley's a shi..." during the silence.
