I know you're being daft, but some reading this thread might not pick up on it. Sycamore Farm is rubbish. Wetherspoons/Toby Carvery type food.

If you're looking for something special, The Moorcock Inn at Sowerby Bridge cannot be beaten on quality, price and service. Sadly they're shutting up shop soon so you only have until the end of the month, if you can get in. I think they have a handful of reservations left.

I also like the Stone Trough at Kelbrook, but prefer the Tempest Arms at Elslack when over that way.

Tempest Arms is currently having a significant refurbishment and will be closed for a number of months (from 3 January).

Going to say you'll do well, all the front entrance/toilet extension has been demolished and it is closed. Decent food though and I hope it returns

Went to Pendle Inn on Saturday before the match. Food and service was excellent.

Wouldn't recommend parking in Barley though :D

Sicky Farm it’s called in the Rosegrove/Lowerhouse area. No wonder. Eat there, you will be sick. Awful place. Food? Should be served in a trough, nothing is “made” on the premises. All shipped in by the pallet load, and nuked in a microwave. Absolute sh**e. As stated earlier, I wouldn’t eat a free meal there,in fact I wouldn’t if they actually paid me. Who wants quantity when it’s all pig swill.
