Looked him up on Wiki and it reports that he was sent off whilst playing in an international for tupping an opponent.

He was playing for Montenegro at that point, and has since switched to Kosovo. Players were offered the opportunity to change when Kosovo joined FIFA. I think even established players like Shaqiri and Xhaka had the opportunity but I may be wrong there.
