Well we should have had a pen, hit the bar and post and had a goal a toenail offside. Overall not bad. Probably see Benson/Twine soonish.

It's been unfathomably rare this season but West Brom have come to the Turf, identified our weaknesses and are exploiting them. They've played really well. Corberan is a Premier League manager in waiting.

We aren't out of it by any means, but as tough a game as many of us thought.

Post, crossbar and a couple of decent penalty shouts. We can definitely get back into this and even win. Our bench is strong too. Come on!

clear push on Taylor
brown hill penalty
nearly own goal
furlong cheat
Barnes a cock hair from being on or offside
Barnes hit bar
looked like Tella was caught for penalty, not 100% sure tho.

makes for a good second half. players will be pumped for it, I'm sure.

Good game, apart from the score.
Clear foul for their goal, clear dive from Bash, but thought the offside goal should have stood.
Their disallowed goal correct, but you've seen them given so many times.
The only thing we're lacking is a bit of luck.

Everyone is playing well, just need to keep at it second half

Feeling disappointed with that. I think Taylor was fouled, I also think Brownhill was fouled too, similar shoves in the back. Interesting that some of those saying Taylor was too soft are also claiming Brownhill was fouled.

Barnes unlucky, looked onside on all the replays I saw. Also unlucky with Pieters almost turning in his cross. Then he hits the bar. He’s been great tonight.

Watched the Tella incident again, I do genuinely think his foot was clipped, when you slow it down you can see it on the replay.

Very little creativity by us going forward and missing the composure of THB at the back. Taylor is a decent LB but definitely not a CH and dithers so much. The 3 players we have been after this week emphasise our shortcomings,Think we need Benson on soon, for Bastian and push Josh back to CM

We didn't get one when we should have so I have no problem with them diving tonight. That's 2 pens now we should have had against them this season, with the hand ball at their place.

Keep that level up in 2nd half and easily get two back.

The fact our ‘fans’ are happy to lump on Tella yet say Muric wasn’t fouled just shows how many thrive on hating the team

The push in the back on Brownhill was a penny. The one of Tellas was engineered, dive. Barnes close on the offside. We've been the better side.

Could have had 4, they are good but we hit the woodwork twice, close with that late corner, and 4 penalty shouts (two were, two were not, the two that were was Brownhill and when Tella was assaulted). Then the Barnes marginall offside.

They were also lucky their goal wasn’t disallowed for a push on Taylor. But….the refs have been told to allow some physicality this season, that has cost us today. So far.

Ref's had an absolute shocker by the way. Foul on Taylor for their goal, and about as blatant a penalty as you'll see for the push on Brownhill. He's supposed to be one of the best refs in the country.

Don't we usually up the tempo second half? They might not find it as easy to defend if we are moving faster.

Story of 2 pushes.

Both in their favour.

Too many safe passes backwards though. Roberts needs to be better with Vitinho on the bench.

They don't look that good at the back. We need one to go in, even off someone's backside. Give us confidence then.

Tella was expecting contact that never came. He doesn’t even appeal for the pen, he gets straight back up and tries to play on - then he’s barged over by the other fella.

Do a Man City and put 4 in🙂. We don't lose many home night matches and we usually score so I'm hoping to see their net bulge this half.

I think we should have had 2 pens and their goal was a foul

Maybe that he's playing as a centre back when he's clearly a left back.

Maybe because he doesn't get a good run and is being played out of position most times.
