Having a core of Dyche-conditioned Dogs of War is helping on this front, imo.

Agreed-thought Barnes & Taylor today fully earned their salaries

I don't think so.
And he's taken some really high pressure ones.

Great shout! Battle hardened generals who have been there and done it! Cork, Taylor, Barnes, Brownhill are invaluable in setting the standard for all the younger players to follow.

I totally agree with Beamish and you but also, Cullen is all over that pitch and Tella is a right niggly barsteward at times.

We just have a brilliant together team and squad.

Just look at Zaroury's and Maatsen's faces in the picture, they're a picture. 8-)

It’s an intoxicating mix of Dyche’s discipline and battle hardened spirit (which VK has acknowledged) and sensational skill and ability. A truly special season.

Even as a Rovers fan I’ve gotta observe that the complete turnaround of Burnley FC in terms of the way that the fans and the media conceive you and just the club in general is remarkable.

I had the dubious privilege of attending a 30th birthday do at Turf recently and upon arrival I was a bit taken aback by the transformation of the facilities in the ground compared to what they were even 10 years ago. It was very trendy and smart on the way up to and I’m the function room.

Not saying this as a dig from a Rovers fan but the reputation that precedes Burnley as a very old school set up that has some catching up to do can be very easy to subscribe to. But fair play to you lot it was second to none and Burnley almost seem like a fashionable/likeable club these days. I’d say I preferred you when you were known for having a notorious hooligan mob and a weathered Stan Ternent smoking JPS in the dugout though

We had to fight for those 3 points as Luton made it a battle and the dry pitch wasn't conducive to playing football.

However just as at Stoke where conditions were appalling we emerged with a vital win.

5 away wins on the bounce since the defeat at Bramall Lane, and we've only conceded once in those 5 games.

The guy who did the Luton podcast was spot on. He said that against us they wouldn’t get many chances and that they would have to be far more clinical than they were at Preston. They had one big chance (as did Norwich and QPR) and they fluffed it. It is amazing how few chances our opponents get.

Spot on, we’ve actually got the lowest open play xG against in the league at just 17.7. Out of 32 games played that’s brilliant. Hence why we’ve now got the best defence in the league and joint most clean sheets (I think).

Yes, hardworking and just what we needed against a team like Luton.

Longest run of consecutive away wins since Jan 1973.
50 years and counting, both very special teams.
