Gary Lineker
Gary Lineker just appeared on the box, with a tribute to John Motson. Mrs Basil turned to me and said "he's bloody turned into im wi 't long chin!"
Re: Gary Lineker
Move aside, Homer. Who even needs Tolstoy? Hemmingway? Bah, overrated anyway.

Every single post of yours criticises or ridicules a person's or groups characteristics or failings.basil6345789 wrote: ↑Thu Feb 23, 2023 11:52 pmGary Lineker just appeared on the box, with a tribute to John Motson. Mrs Basil turned to me and said "he's bloody turned into im wi 't long chin!"

It never ceases to amaze me, on my infrequent trips to this Board how fellow posters can recall other posters contributions to such a degree.Lancasterclaret wrote: ↑Fri Feb 24, 2023 7:25 amAnother thread with huge potential

Re: Gary Lineker
Easy for those that spend large chunks of their working day and leisure time trawling through, reading and commenting on a football message board. I'm sure there are other social media platforms as well that take up just as much of their time. Living your best life through the internet, quite sad really.Longtimeclaret wrote: ↑Fri Feb 24, 2023 8:00 amIt never ceases to amaze me, on my infrequent trips to this Board how fellow posters can recall other posters contributions to such a degree.

Re: Gary Lineker

:It's interesting how older white male Lineker has evaded the BBC diversity led nonsense and kept his job . Perhaps, as some allege, he really does have perfumed farts

I love how Gary Lineker is always a massive trigger for the Permanently Angry About Something Brigade on here.

Re: Gary Lineker
I didn't mind him until he started wading into the P word espousing his views when in his position he should have remained impartial or at least remained quiet about it considering the very people on the other side were contributing to his income, don't bite the hand that feeds you one of the first lessons in life.
