Playing well but so are Boro. It will be a miracle if it finishes 1-0

Why does he have to go down for the foul to be given?

Tells had every right to go down there and if he did it would have been a red for the Boro defender. He stays on his feet and puts it wide but surely it’s still a foul? No?

Third time Zaroury has had a bit left on him. Ref needs to protect players here.

Looking okay. We've given away the ball like 4 times from the back, but Boro couldn't do anything. VAR would have ruled Barnes's goal offside, but it would have given Brownhill a penalty. Tella probably should have scored a few minutes ago.

Irrelevant if he went down or stayed up. Ref should have played advantage and come back regardless and given a red.

That was a uttererly mental decision by the ref

I hear you. Do refs have a mechanism to red card without a free kick?

100% they can red card without giving a free kick or pen.

I think he still will have a big part to play next season. He's got a combination of technique and intelligence that not many of our players have, and more pace than the likes of Cork. He's proven so adaptable this season, I could honestly see him still working in the centre midfield role in the PL as he's done it this season.

In that case, I agree. The foul should have been punished. Tough to advantage away a red.

Though in 30 mins this refereeing team have given an offside goal, failed to award a penalty and not given a red card.

Despite us winning the ref performance has been poor and so need a couple more goals here so any more poor decisions later in the game don't come back and bite us.

I assume the ref got wind of the missed offside and has been fluffing his lines since, trying to compensate.

Muric's been fine. Boro's press has been tough and he's had to deal with the ball within the 6 yard box. He flapped at one cross but no harm came of it.

Think most people also see just how many times he has picked the ball up under pressure and found a pass out of trouble for us every time. Very impressive. You just focus on the negatives though if that's what you want.

We’ve got the best defence in the league as per. Most teams have conceded at least 20 more goals than us.

At this point you have a weird vendetta against him. So strange to dislike a player in your own team so much

That's for a GK.

One on one against deepest defender and a deliberate foul occurs running towards goal is a red. If he was running towards the corner flag maybe not.
