There’s a reason why McCall rhymes with fkall.

Half of their team seemed to lose their head walking off - great scenes.

After losing. When they’re still not sure of going up. After we’ve just beat them tonight and convincingly over the season?
Strange time to try and get one up imo.

They were ****. And for 45 mins that game they were then too.
And over the course of the season they’ve been nowhere near us. That game literally motivated us to pump bastards and we haven’t lost a game since.

McCall , is this the new McDonalds unhappy meal available around Bramhall lane?
Such a shame as every fan I met wearing red and white stripes were respectful.
We gave a bit of revenge talk but , and in all honesty were a bit prickly after the away game but that is classless.
Never mind it obviously hurts.
GOOD!!!!

Billy Sharp was chunnering too.
Nice to see them rattled.
Ndiaye should have got a first yellow for dissent. But was definitely deserved his yellow for petulant kick in frustration.
Can Sheff Utd channel tonight as motivation to kick on or do they bottle it and let Luton in? Will be interesting to watch.

Considering they were singing about going to Wembley it doesn’t sound like they are convinced they are finishing second

Can’t see it but would love them to bottle it. Unlikely though as their next four games are at brammall lane. That said the keepers out for three of them and the sub didn’t look up to much.

They won that game mainly because of the extra days rest following our tough game against Rotherham coupled with missing key players like Barnes who was essential for that type of game. They were also very lucky with their first goal given it should have been a goal kick. They were not all that and we’d have at least drawn having had a full week to prepare for the game.

Stuart McCall reminds me very much of the fellow that was there before him, Jason Tindall. Neither appear to offer much input but have somehow landed on their feet in their respective clubs. Good luck to them, I suppose but neither of them impresses me as having much to offer.

Honestly feel like they still think they are the best side in the championship and the only reason we ran away with the league was down to luck/injuries/referees.
They give Villa, Leicester and Coventry a run for their money in the weirdest fan stakes.
I hope Boro or Luton catch them

They gave us a good game for 20 minutes or so, albeit without threatening. We were starting to get on top before the sending off, which in itself was preventing a certain goal.
Perhaps this is coming from a 'noveau football snob' perspective - but they're a very ugly team. Could their style be better equipped for the PL than ours though? Hopefully not, but I think they'll give Man City a sterner test in the upcoming FA cup semi final than we did.

They’re proper ale house. It comes across like they’re trying to tell themselves something that isn’t there. What they do can be effective as we saw at their place, but let’s not labour under the guise it’s particularly good to watch. We are, by some distance, the best team in this league, and a lot of clubs find that difficult to stomach. We were the better team for the first 20 mins too - the red card is stopping a certain goal - so they can’t be falling back on that.

Proper obsessed with thier 5-2 win over us, all the Sheffield United fans near the barrier all game kept sticking up 7 finger's pointing out they beat us 5-2 like they won some sort of trophy for it, at the end of the game they kept banging on they'd beat us 5-4 over the two game's, they need to get over it was one bloody game out of 46

stange lot they also kept singing "where were you at Bramall lane" like we didn't sell out, salty bunch

Got to laugh at the 5-4 aggregate score as if that’s some sort of badge of honour. It’s playground stuff from the bitter blunts.
More relevant and telling stats are
90 pts to 76
2 losses to 10
Champions to runners up (if they don’t bottle it)

They are shire horses to our thorough breds.
They like the niggly sly stuff, not complaining just an observation.
The only player of theirs I'd take is Ndaiye. Looked quality on the ball, but he'll be outside our price range, or fishing pond.
The rest of them would struggle to get in our team.

Not sure if that's a sore loser or someone who is thick as pigshit. It's possibly both.

Just a shame for them that the season isn't 45 mins long , as they may well have won the league if it was

They’re still bitter that we bested them in 2008/09 season, both in the league and at Wembley.
Coming out with some complete crap, like they only lost because of the red card… well why did you get a red card lads? Is that because one of our players did your two donkeys and you hacked him down? Yep, thought so

I think it is because they are in the FA Cup semi-final, rather than any lack of confidence in their ability to finish second.

I’d forgot about that
Let’s hope City, at least match the 6 they got against us, else they’ll be trying to claim that as victory over us as well as the “5-4 aggregate win”

To me it all comes from the manager, I think heckingbottom comes across very arrogant and it rubs off on the players and fans
