Churlinov not even on the bench after last weeks display even with a depleted squad. Definitely hasn’t took his chance yet

And I wouldn't call the squad depleted, anything but.

Harsh to drop Taylor thought he did well enough for a bench spot at least. Would definitely have Muric there. Wish he would just go for the kill here.

I’ve been wanting us to really go at teams all season. Not a criticism, just how good I think we are.burnleymik wrote: ↑Tue Apr 18, 2023 6:52 pmHarsh to drop Taylor thought he did well enough for a bench spot at least. Would definitely have Muric there. Wish he would just go for the kill here.

Re: Matchday thread - Rotherham
I really hope VK doesn’t play these games next Tuesday.
Got a feeling he will play a second string, why wouldn’t he? 2 games on the trot now.
If he does and fails to get them fired up we will be in the end of one.
I am starting to think VK has been swayed by the speculation surrounding him.

ESPN+ got this all wrong - they covering Millwall vs Bristol City. Should be us or Sheff Utd

Evening all from a cracking day here in Galway , now as for the team looks a little lightweight up front but we will see .
Re: Matchday thread - Rotherham
So the impact of being linked with the Spurs job is to play more squad players? Even by the standards of this board that’s a fair old leap!RickyBobby wrote: ↑Tue Apr 18, 2023 6:56 pmI really hope VK doesn’t play these games next Tuesday.

It's about finding out where the squad players are at. I'm sure VK knows what Charlie Taylor offers.burnleymik wrote: ↑Tue Apr 18, 2023 6:52 pmHarsh to drop Taylor thought he did well enough for a bench spot at least. Would definitely have Muric there. Wish he would just go for the kill here.

More swayed by the need to assess a few players who haven't played regular.RickyBobby wrote: ↑Tue Apr 18, 2023 6:56 pmI really hope VK doesn’t play these games next Tuesday.

It's going to be a BIG summer. As he has already said he needs to know what these players are capable of now, July would be too late.
Why can't you just accept what he has said, instead of putting 2 and 2 together..........

Re: Matchday thread - Rotherham
Taking our foot off the gas and making five subs is really annoying in fact it’s the only thing annoying with this team, I wish we’d copy that Pep mentality of never stop relentlessly attacking to score more

Re: Matchday thread - Rotherham
Happy to see Twine and Foster get another start because we need to see them consistently on the field as we look ahead to next season.
Players perform better the more games they play and a good performance from both or one of them tonight will be very encouraging.

Re: Matchday thread - Rotherham
Is Ekdal injured? No sign of him on Saturday or tonight.
Re: Matchday thread - Rotherham
Glad to see Twine getting another go. I thought he played well last game and at least was taking shots in dangerous areas even if they were all blocked.

Another match Saturday.burnleymik wrote: ↑Tue Apr 18, 2023 6:52 pmHarsh to drop Taylor thought he did well enough for a bench spot at least. Would definitely have Muric there. Wish he would just go for the kill here.
Re: Matchday thread - Rotherham
A good line up. Fancy us to take the 3 points tonight. One interesting point is no THB in the stsrting line up.

Good to see the whole squad is being used.
This is good for players like Foster and Twine.
Hoping for a better result than Saturday though

Re: Matchday thread - Rotherham
Didn’t Ekdal trigger a payment close recently due to unexpectedly quickly achieving a certain number of appearances?
Or perhaps he is one appearance away from that trigger point?

Re: Matchday thread - Rotherham
VK has earned the tight to rotate if he wishes, and it's the only way he'll see whether some are up to it or not.
Good to see Maatsen and Zaroury back as they should massively improve our creativity.
More than useful options off the bench as well which could be important in the later stages if it's tight.

Hardly the best way to work with other clubs which you may need to deal with again in the future.

We should win, but I’d prefer it if we wrapped the title up and then tried some of the fringe players.

Re: Matchday thread - Rotherham
Are my eyes wonky?
Pretty sure a player I didn't recognise was warming up with the squad had the number 34 on his shorts.
We don't have a squad number 34.
Any ideas who this is?

When PB says "header won" it might help the listener if he said by which team.
