Concerned now having read this. Not another embarrassment like the Etihad, please.
Pouring scorn on Blackburn Rovers though? No problem with that.

Please stop this.
Let's just get on with the job of supporting our team and winning matches.

Can't we just make our statement by beating them on the pitch?jedi_master wrote: ↑Tue Apr 25, 2023 12:12 pmConcerned now having read this. Not another embarrassment like the Etihad, please.

You'd have hoped so, but it appears that some can't.nil_desperandum wrote: ↑Tue Apr 25, 2023 12:16 pmCan't we just make our statement by beating them on the pitch?

I think it makes us look a bit daft to be honest, will ruin potentially one of the best nights in our history if it says what I suspect it will

I hope not. Imagine if we lose, we’ll look stupid, not only by rovers fans but the media and general football supporters. The business is on the pitch nowhere else. Let’s hope this is a wind up.

Re: Tonight’s plane over Ewood
A plane over a football ground was imaginative and admittedly slightly funny way back when Garner sorted it.
Now it's unnecessary, embarrassing and pathetic. It won't be funny. It will pour scorn on our club.
Someone needs to stop it!!

If this is genuine, tell them to stop. You just bring embarrassment to the club and its fans.

Surely a wind up and nobody is so sad as to copy someone else’s idea from 30 years ago.
My guess for content would be something to do with Jack Walker and Venkys which is equally as sad.

Re: Tonight’s plane over Ewood
Maybe the banner should be given to some of their fans to dry their eyes on.
1 particular goon who resides in Chorley seems to be going into meltdown on twitter / facebook and their forum. Apparently he is one of their resident mouth pieces who was in a bar in Chorley one year when we were playing at Bolton and he was mouthing inbred this and dingle that but only on the internet. Must have lost his voice as by all accounts he failed to actually say anything apart from on line. Some of his stuff being repeated and mocked makes me think tonight might be all too much for him and could finish him off.

Really really stupid, if that’s the case. Volatile enough, winning the Championship on that ground. Could make the situation quite dangerous.

who ever does send a plane or drone is a complete mindless moron and should get banned for life from all sporting occasions and have to report to a police station when ever there is a sporting event on anywhere in this country

Let's hope there is nothing in this because it goes against everything the club is trying to do on and off the field. Anyone who thinks this is a good idea seriously needs a rethink.

Given how tinpot that lot have made themselves look with the ticketing shenanigans, it would be a massive shame if our own fans were to get in on the act with something like this.

Err no it really isn't ...it's completely pathetic.
Just how tiny does your brain have to be to think it's funny to spread false information "to wind people up" ? I mean it's something any village idiot could do if they wanted and is completely devoid of any wit.

I'm half expecting a few '4000 point Clarets' to parachute out of a plane to get in the ground, but a banner is 2 a penny these days.
