WELCOME TO HELL
Time to get the Banner made.
Vinnie has asked we need to deliver and make Turf Moor a horrible intimidating place for teams next season.

Vinnie absolutely loves it doesn’t he?
He totally understands and feels the passion that we all have for our club.
It really is unique - just like he said you don’t get this in many other places.
Just fabulous all around.
So proud to be a Claret - these are brilliant times for Burnley

Fully agree. He was proper made up when he saw the size of the crowd there. Great to see.CoolClaret wrote: ↑Tue May 09, 2023 7:01 pmVinnie absolutely loves it doesn’t he?

Also agree we are a very unique club, there’s a reason we have punched above our weight for most of our history.

Vinny just gets us. He has an astounding understanding of football and the bigger picture. It’s like having a fan as manager. I’m sure city fans would have felt the same with him as a player.

Takes me back to May'60 when we won the First Division after that memorable night at Maine Road......but that night it was midnight before the team arrived back at the Town Hall.

One of my good mates is a life long blue and said as much when he found out that he had signed. Said he’s built different and also rubbished the spurs links immediately.gandhisflipflop wrote: ↑Tue May 09, 2023 7:06 pmVinny just gets us. Think he believes in legacy, integrity and doing things the right way.

Re: Victory parade - Tuesday 9th May
Not a grumble cos we’ve all been spoilt this season but this Youtube thing is a bit amateur hour today. Cuts in and out and now appears to not be showing the actual parade (I expected a live transmission camera on the front bus but I expect it is just a recorded Clarets Uncut one for the days to come).
I’d promised the family a later bedtime on a school night so they are a bit disappointed!
These are the things I’d like the tech savvy Americans to improve, they’d have to if they want to attract a worldwide audience not just for matches.

Well done to all Clarets who went, very decent turnout! Looked superb from the players instagram stories.
Re: WELCOME TO HELL
Take note from the likes of Forest Palace and dare I say Leeds fans to make the Turf a cauldron of noise throughout the match not just after a goal is scored. I know this has been discussed before but it does strike me that we could do with some areas in JH and JM stands to spark off singing in support of the CFS. How you go about creating those areas I’ve no idea but I’m pretty sure the whole ground would join in most of the time than not.

if you follow the players the story should appear at the top and will say 'live" next to them. Not seeing any live at the moment though

Re: Victory parade - Tuesday 9th May
The trouble is they have JJ having paraded himself around the western world’s media outlets for 2 weeks so presumably have thousands of potential new fans checking in having been promised “trophy parade live” only to get cut off as soon as the bus departs. If it was only the interviews they should have said so but they specifically advertised it as the parade. ‘Live’ is a completely different expectation to watching the various recorded Youtube clips.
It’s an own goal, and as I said above it’s amateur like. Luckily we were there yesterday but many weren’t and with Youtube being free it was a great chance to connect with other fans who didn’t get a seat.

Re: Victory parade - Tuesday 9th May
there actually weren't many watching the stream, most people watch and find content on Instagram - Vitinho, Beyer, Maatsen etc etc have some brilliant content. For example this is an outstanding photographCrosspoolClarets wrote: ↑Tue May 09, 2023 7:42 pmThe trouble is they have JJ having paraded himself around the western world’s media outlets for 2 weeks so presumably have thousands of potential new fans checking in having been promised “trophy parade live” only to get cut off as soon as the bus departs. They should have had a second screen in the centre instead of the large speaker.Quickenthetempo wrote: ↑Tue May 09, 2023 7:30 pmThis has been shocking coverage.

I ended up stood by the culvert trying to watch via my phone, It kept cutting in and out so thought it was just the signal I had

Always thought those cardboard clapper things the Leicester fans had made for a real intimidating atmosphere.
I dont think it was a coincidence that they won the league after starting using them and then the first season they've stopped handing them out Leicester look like going down

Very good, DA.
Re: Parade streamed?
There wasn't many left to see it, the presenter told everybody the players wouldn't be coming back out and where to go to watch the bus. 10-15 minutes later they bring the squad out for the trophy liftClaretTony wrote: ↑Tue May 09, 2023 7:00 pmBalcony is very small so not able to get too many on but down at the front door means very few can see.

Re: Victory parade - Tuesday 9th May
Some stunning photos and vids of the culvert on the players' Instagrams. Churlinov, Beyer and Peacock-Farrell have posted it, with all the flags and flares.
It should be like that more often, champions or not.

Was delighted to see the flags at the last game but would add:Hartfordclarets wrote: ↑Tue May 09, 2023 7:05 pm100%- need to get some banners - like to keep the large flags too for next season!
- They need to be bigger (they were quite small for “big flags”)
- They need to be a bit more authentic and creative. They looked like they’d been designed by our graphic design department - which they probably had tbf - very corporate looking. Need to get a flag company in, study the designs across Europe and get some new designs.
- Need them in the stands (or the CFS) anyway.
But a great step forward to have any at all.

Re: WELCOME TO HELL
You look at the atmosphere the flares created tonight, looked absolute quality & sure the players loved it.
In a welcome to hell scenario you need flares and flags!
And the fans right on top of the pitch!!
