Re: Summer transfer window 2023 - rumours, links and discussion.
In one of Vinny's recent interviews he made a big point about only wanting players who were prepared to put in what you might call extra work (off the training ground). He's really after players who are dedicated to improvement. JBG must have ticked that box. Would Maxwell fit the bill?Guller Bull wrote: ↑Sat May 13, 2023 7:07 pmLook at JBG this year and his level of fitness. As a back up to regain hs fitness and for less than 5mill () - do it!

It’s a Burnley fan, it’s the guy who runs the TalkBFC page, someone caught them out last summer, they forgot to change their accounts over and posted on the TalkBFC instagram as BradNewcastleclaret93 wrote: ↑Sun May 14, 2023 8:43 amHaha Brad Jones has no inside access to the club.

I think our mention in Alan Nixon’s Sunday stories today are re James McAtee.
Re: Summer transfer window 2023 - rumours, links and discussion.
Yes he did. Bolton fans also seem to think he was watching James Trafford (keeper on loan from City).
Re: Summer transfer window 2023 - rumours, links and discussion.
No it’s re. THB, just says City are deciding what to do.Jakubs Tash wrote: ↑Sun May 14, 2023 9:17 amI think our mention in Alan Nixon’s Sunday stories today are re James McAtee.

Re: Summer transfer window 2023 - rumours, links and discussion.
THB will be playing for England u21s this summer, you’d think they will wait till after that, if he has a good tournament they might chose to cash in on a full sale whilst they can demand a good fee, or whether to offer him a new deal and loan him out again
Re: Summer transfer window 2023 - rumours, links and discussion.

The account is run by the same individual who runs the TalkBFC Instagram the same individual who has been given a bit part media role within the club and has direct access to Alan Pace. He has outed himself on multiple occasions

DM in morning.”VK will hold talks with Wout Weghorst when he returns to the Clarets in the Summer”.
He could well be telling him to empty his locker but who knows?
Still DM. We amongst others are interested in Sheraldo Becker from Union Berlin

Wout’s gone. Pace won’t have him back. They’ll use him as a pawn for future transfers.Tricky Trevor wrote: ↑Sun May 14, 2023 11:37 pmDM in morning.”VK will hold talks with Wout Weghorst when he returns to the Clarets in the Summer”.

How do you know Pace won't have him back. If VK wants him back and can see a role in the team for him then I'm sure Pace would go along with that but I hope not.CharlieinNewMexico wrote: ↑Mon May 15, 2023 3:13 amWout’s gone. Pace won’t have him back. They’ll use him as a pawn for future transfers.

Mark Sertori former Man City masseur as Senior role in performance department.

Read something the other day that one of our masseurs, who has been at the club for ten years and a big claret, had left with seemingly no immediate role. So can only imagine that is linked to this.Dodobdobodobo wrote: ↑Mon May 15, 2023 11:59 amMark Sertori former Man City masseur as Senior role in performance department.

I’m all for progress on and off the pitch but do hope any such moves are keeping our core people and the heartbeat of the club involved.

City keeper on loan at Bolton is latest link
Re: Summer transfer window 2023 - rumours, links and discussion.
Linked with young keeper James Trafford who’s been on loan at Bolton from City for the past 2 seasons. They love him there. Vinny was at Bolton’s game the other day.

I also thought we might go in for Yari Verschaeren but nothing on that either.
Re: Summer transfer window 2023 - rumours, links and discussion.
Verbruggen linked with United by the MEN last week.
Verschaeren unfortunately did his ACL a month ago, otherwise I’m sure we’d have been targeting him.

No way we use our one loan from Man City on a squad keeper, football insider have seen that kompany and Adam where watching Bobby Thomas against Bolton and linked us with TraffordRVclaret wrote: ↑Mon May 15, 2023 6:16 pmLinked with young keeper James Trafford who’s been on loan at Bolton from City for the past 2 seasons. I’d imagine we’d be looking at a permanent deal. Can’t see why Kompany would be overly worried about Thomas - no way he makes the cut for the Prem and will likely be sold this summer.123EasyasBFC wrote: ↑Mon May 15, 2023 6:46 pmNo way we use our one loan from Man City on a squad keeper, football insider have seen that kompany and Adam where watching Bobby Thomas against Bolton and linked us with Trafford

Be amazing if we could get Sergio Gomez from City and Lokanga from Arsenal. Kompany slowly transforming us into his Anderlecht side

All the links so far seem to be mainly attacking players, when you would say the main positions we are light in, is midfield

Trafford would be permanent not a loan to whoever was querying that.
There’s a long time to get these additions in don’t panic
I’m sure we will see 2/3 midfielders join , capable of playing central

Re THB I personally feel Jordan Beyer to be the better option. We also have Al-Dakiel and Ekdal who both look excellent signings.A replacement or deal for Nathan Tella is more necessary

As good as THB has been, he should be behind our needs for CM and Striker - two of each for me
