Arsenal v Brighton
Arsenal v Brighton
Just come in and start fast forwarding Gooners v Brighton( is this what we’ve got to look forward to?) 30 secs man down serious head injury ,back up in a minute ,a bit later Arsenal players takes a Brighton player out jumping into him ,and no intention to get the ball, could have been red ,but not even a yellow,2 mins later victim seeks revenge ,and takes out Gooner,Arsenal players surround ref, tells them to go away ,but they take no notice,Neville says it’s a definite booking ,ref doesn’t.
,every player going down as if they’ll never walk again,Xhaka being a knob as usual.

Re: Serious injuries
Martinelli & Caicedo - hard to believe they weren’t carded. The second one has forced Martinelli off the pitch.

Re: Arsenal v Brighton
Kompany will just be watching it from a tactical perspective… always learning new bits. Brighton play a style that isn’t too dissimilar from us.

Amazing how far Brighton have come in a short period of time, not often you see Arsenal struggle for possession in any game never mind at home

Re: Arsenal v Brighton
Last time we went to Arsenal we broke down the left in stoppage time with McNeil. Arteta was chasing him down the touchline. He and Klopp want permanently banishing to the stands.

The managers of the 'Super Clubs' always get away with more than they should.

Ramsdale rolls ball to arsenal player surrounded by 4 Brighton players. Does a 360, no where to go, moves towards a Brighton player… throws himself on the floor…. Free kick to Arsenal of course.

Re: Arsenal v Brighton
Certainly this league is becoming unwatchable and VAR has made it worse.
What annoys me the most is all the bad stuff could be stopped immediately but there appears no desire to.
They could have the ball in play more, less feigning injury, less diving and less silliness from managers. But for some reason it is allowed to get worse.

Potter couldn't get Brighton to score goals and that issue followed him to Chelsea, Di Zerbi is a different level to Potter, Brighton are excellent under himClaretTony wrote: ↑Sun May 14, 2023 6:21 pmI wondered how Brighton would be affected by Potter going but they’ve improved.

Brighton have been great to watch here, good response to that deserved hammering off Everton.
City will end up winning league by about 10 points after all that talk of a ‘race’.

Anybody that has given up on BPF. Check out Jason Steele, getting on now but in his early career he was very similar. Lots of great save and lots of brain freeze errors.
