I don't know exactly what's happening, but does this mean we're relegated?

Not gonna lie I want Hannah Waddingham to look down at me and shout my worth at me and tell we how many points I have been awarded.

No one can deny that the winning song is magnificent. If lady gaga sang that it would be be revered as a masterpiece.

She could have been singing in Swedish for all I could make of the lyrics.

The UK entry did better than I expected!

You’re amazed that they spent a fortune on staging it and then decided to promote it?

One of the reasons that the BBC is so great is that it will show Antiques roadshow and Eurovision and no one cares*

Australia ? Eurovision ?
There was a typo on the invites sent out some years ago and as yet no-one has noticed it. The Aussies will find a way to cheat sooner or later and that will be when they are found out

And it gets better ever year as everyone just has a bit of fun

I think people need to remember to have fun occasionally, rather than just whinge about everything that isn't in their comfort zone (or everything with some on here)
Plus it reminds you of the good old days

Complete and utter ******** of the highest order.

A collection of weirdos singing shi-te euro pop trash with a gaggle of flag waving cheer leaders in the crowd.

Apart from that I think it's really good...

Personally I love it, Liverpool have done a great job putting all the emphasis on Ukraine.

The voting can be a bit political but let’s not forget we almost won last year after being nowhere near for donkeys years yet politically we are a bullying set of USA brown noses.

It’s all good fun

I watch Eurovision every year, brilliant entertainment, but I fear some on this thread are taking it far too seriously.

I for one am shocked at the people on here who don't like Eurovision
There's obviously some subtle message in there...

How "shocked" would you be to learn that some of the people on here don't like 'the masked singer'? Old men shouting at the young folks having fun no doubt...

How about 'university challenge'? Old men shouting at students answering questions about subjects they've never even heard of, no doubt...

How about 'Question time'? Old men shouting at everyone who isn't Nigel Farage or Jacob Rees-Mogg no doubt...

Maybe people don't like Eurovision because it's just a little bit ****... it's entirely possible that it's nothing more 'sinister' than that...

Eurovision had its day in the 70’s and 80’s when there was nothing else to watch.

It’s a bit like if they tried a new series of fawlty towers it wouldn’t be as good and they quit while ahead with just the 12 episodes. They should’ve done the same and quit when Bucks Fizz won tbh.

We'll be back in properly within a couple of electoral cycles

(which will be hilarious on here)

Got it’s highest ever U.K. viewing figures on Saturday so it seems it’s day might be now.

And it was great fun being in Liverpool over the last week. I can take or leave Eurovision usually but it was hard not to get swept along by the excitement.

Watched it and found it highly enjoyable. For "serious music" I thought the Estonian lady had a good song. For Bippity-bop puppet-on-a-string-style Europop I thought Poland and Austria were decent. For sheer comical madness check out Finland, Moldova and, especially, Croatia. Overall I was rooting for the Belgian Boy-George-Alike with his disco tune.
It's just a bit of fun but, yes, the saturation coverage on the beeb was somewhat grating.

You need to remember this is a competition created by tv companies for tv, so the BBC were effectively hosting it this year, hence the saturation coverage.
