Someone who worked with one of my relations used this company, but they were to busy to take their dog on as well but that was a while ago.

Couldn’t recommend this company highly enough, is owned by a lady called Rebecca Brown who is just wonderful with how she treats the dogs

Someone asking for advice and receiving sensible and useful advice. How it should be.

On related theme, can anybody recommend a dog groomer in the Burnley/Pendle area?

The person we have used for last year told us this weekend she’s leaving

I've always found the concept of owning a pet really bizarre.

Not as bizarre as posting one is on holiday in spain during lockdown all the while ones IP address points to one being at home 🤣

Rachel Whitehead - Diego and Friends

I take my dog to the groomers in Rosegrove, seem good to be fair.

I used to have a groomers come to my house and cut my dogs hair in the back of his van. My dog always looked traumatised and there was an episode that I wont even bother typing as you'll all think I'm on the wind up  very, very strange guy.

I just could not imagine living in a house without a dog. They deliver so much joy, entertainment and love.
I doubt whether I am alone in believing this.

I find that I have enough companionship, love and loyalty in my life with my family and friends without having the need to have an animal around. But each to their own.

Correct, pets aren't for everyone & in some circumstances seriously restrict your freedom & complicate life, but in some circumstances they can offer a sort of lifeline & companionship for lonely people & do their mental health the world of good. Nothing against them, but I often see & hear about them being left at home all day on their own while the owners are out working I don't think that's fair.

Explain why you felt you needed to post that in relation to this thread. Might genuinely help me understand thick people. Literally no sarcasm, please do explain!!

My recommendation would be the mum/daughter behind Bob and Bea - walking/grooming/house visits.
