I think they're doing what they can with Axl Rose but there ain't a lot to work with.

Guitars sound amazing.

Ah man, the music video for November Rain - proper rock and roll excess, cost an absolute fortune, very of its time. Utterly ridiculous but amazing.

His voice has gone off too much in these latter tracks and too noticeable on the slower, quieter numbers.

Switch over the Lana Del Rey if you want to hear a stunning vocal arrangement

Lana Del Rey for me now. GnR a let down. His voice has gone.

This girl can sing and she's a looker too.

An aged and weathered Axl Rose more held his own against the Psychic Flunkeys frontman last night. Anyone preferring girl pop over rock royalty (as has been mentioned above) is more than welcome to it.

This has been a great performance.

Lizzo will be sobbing into her cheesecakes listening to a crowd go properly mental.

Maybe..just maybe I have a more eclectic taste? Hardly girlpop. It's certainly quirky but it's not what I'd call pop but you can't deny she has a fantastic and unique voice. Makes for a better performance than that just given by Axl.

It’s allowed and (if you want to watch it live) unfortunately you have to make a choice.

GnR for me all the way and maybe one day if LDR has the similar longevity and cultural impact GnR have, I’ll be choosing to watch her over someone else in the future.

No point arguing which is better to you individually, more than arguing your favourite flavour of crisps is wrong ;)

I don't like either band, but to suggest AR is on par with whoever the singer for Arctic Monkeys is is beyond embarrassing. On a technical level (and delivery) the AM guy smashes this current AR back into 1982, it's not even remotely close. FFS

I like both GnR and LDR. I've made the choice to watch LDR simply because either the sound engineers have f***** up or Axl has lost it.

No problems with the sound quality on LDRs stage.

Like Lana Del Rey but find a lot of her songs very samey. The breathy vocals do start to drag. Some really good songs though particularly Arcadia, Born to Die, A&W, Video Games.

In years to come…

The world will remember Axl Rose and his voice.

They’ll ask you who Alex Turner is, and look puzzled when you explain he changed to being a Vic Reeves working men’s club performer mid career.

Embarrassing to suggest otherwise.

Or you’ve been on the herb, seen as it’s legal over there.

In fairness, you couldn’t even name Alex Turner, whilst knowing who Axl Rose is, so I’m guessing you’re just being argumentative for the hell of it.
