Don’t think tresor ever seemed realistic, flemming would be an interesting signing, really rate him as a player, especially in the style of football he was at last season. Have you been told flemming is likely along with Clarke or one or the otherLongsideClaret wrote: ↑Tue Jun 27, 2023 7:18 pmTresor looking unlikely from what I’ve been told at this point, hence the recent bids for Flemming. I’d love us to be in for Gyokeres (though not been told anything to back this up) and it would make sense as a cash plus McNally bid, especially given how well stocked we are at CB.

Crikey, that’s a shocker. I’d have backed myself to score that…Mattster wrote: ↑Tue Jun 27, 2023 7:20 pmSorry to come across all “football expert” but I’ve been aware of Vranckx for years.
Admittedly because he came to my attention for this greatest miss of all time contender…

The two Flemming bids were genuine. Don’t know if we are making another. Also Tella deal being worked on and it sounds more positive than is being reported123EasyasBFC wrote: ↑Tue Jun 27, 2023 7:36 pmDon’t think tresor ever seemed realistic, flemming would be an interesting signing, really rate him as a player, especially in the style of football he was at last season. I heard today that tella definitely wants to come back to us and that a deal just needs sorting out between the 2 clubs might be wrong though so will seeLongsideClaret wrote: ↑Tue Jun 27, 2023 7:55 pmThe two Flemming bids were genuine. I would suggest it's pretty much a given that Tella WANTS to come, but making it happen so that Soton are happy with what they're receiving and we're not having our bottoms smacked with what we're paying is likely to be a huge stumbling block, especially as he's already a proven Championship goalscorer and they're going to need one.dcunningham27 wrote: ↑Tue Jun 27, 2023 8:01 pmI heard today that tella definitely wants to come back to us and that a deal just needs sorting out between the 2 clubs might be wrong though so will see

I'd personally take Tella any day of the week over Gyokeres if either was possible.

Re: Summer transfer window 2023 - rumours, links and discussion.
Question is would everyone take signing tella, Clarke and flemming if it meant we didn’t sign a number 9 and we kept weghorst instead, because I would certainly take that
Re: Summer transfer window 2023 - rumours, links and discussion.
Tella and Flemming would be a great pair of signings for the attacking slots, and complementary as well. Tella we know adds such pace and dynamism, and is a very sound finisher, whilst Flemming appears to be a more physical, technical link man dropping deep and arriving late on.
Not sure on Flemming's pressing ability, but we know Tella adds that in spades as well. I sincerely hope we get both of them.

Yeah that’s it the deal definitely will be a hard one because of what he did last season. I was told it was a lot of add ons that Southampton wanted in the deal which was holding it upDark Cloud wrote: ↑Tue Jun 27, 2023 8:10 pmI would suggest it's pretty much a given that Tella WANTS to come, but making it happen so that Soton are happy with what they're receiving and we're not having our bottoms smacked with what we're paying is likely to be a huge stumbling block, especially as he's already a proven Championship goalscorer and they're going to need one.

Amongst a day of new arrival, new training kit video on YouTube, new sponsor and a new Belgium player link we are forgetting that we are still waiting to see if this deal for Big Brunn Larsen is actually a thing or not, we need the ‘article prepared’ line from Tony

Obafemi was confirmed a couple of weeks ago by Burnley, they said promotion had triggered the commitment to buy.

Spurs signing Maddison for £40 million....
I'm wondering if he's worth that, only had a year left on his contract and he wasn't all that last season

I've never seen anything from Burnley,( I may have missed it) the only official mention I've seen was Swansea when he was on their retained list. Maddison was excellent last season the rest of the Leicester team was a disaster though, I do agree 40 Mill is a lot for someone in the last year of contract, they will get a very good player for there money though.GodIsADeeJay81 wrote: ↑Wed Jun 28, 2023 12:15 amSpurs signing Maddison for £40 million....

Leicesters demise took the same path as ours and Stoke Citys. Too many players past their best, too many players in last year of contract and too many players that just didn’t want to be there. Not the basis for a happy, committed dressing room.Woodleyclaret wrote: ↑Wed Jun 28, 2023 7:32 amVardys legs have gone along with his ability to con penalties. This led to Leicesters demise

Remarkable down turn in Coadys fortunes. Getting rave reviews as Wolves captain and making England squads, new manager comes in drops him, then shipped out to Everton where SD drops him now going down to championship level. Has to be better than that. Maybe his legs have gone? The guys that see him training every day would know.

There seems to be a lot of players with only 12 months left on their contacts who are demanding huge fees.JarrowClaret wrote: ↑Wed Jun 28, 2023 7:25 amMaddison was excellent last season the rest of the Leicester team was a disaster though, I do agree 40 Mill is a lot for someone in the last year of contract, they will get a very good player for there money though.
There is no way that united should be spending 55mil+ on mount when they could get him for free in the summer, likewise Kane.
