Cole will be up in the stands second half, shagging anything that moves.
I hope he sat on his hands.

There was a few Irishman, I made such a mess of some them that they needed wheelchairs to get back their waiting waiters.
You know the old Irish chat up line?
“Have you got any Irish in ya?”
“No”
“Would you like some.”

Brilliant double save!!
Cheeky bid ?
Best double save since Jim Montgomery won the cup for Sunderland v DL.

Trafford didn't have a great deal to do as a goalkeeper apart from the penalty save and I thought his kicking was OK but no more and not to Muric's standards.

THB had a comfortable game with no particular player to mark. His weakness is aerial combat (against the likes of McBurnie) and he wasn't challenged in that way last night. He was faultless though.

Best English player was Gordon and I like the way he moved around the pitch. We should have had more goals but that Spanish goalkeeper was excellent. I was also impressed with Collwill, Angel and Madueke.

U21s were mightily impressive.
Trafford and THB had little to do but looked assured.
I thought MGW, Colwill, and Gordon were the standouts along with Angel Gomes who I thought was excellent throughout the tournament. Surprised nobody linked with him.

It’s not often there is a post on here, with so many points, where I can say I agree with all of them.
Colwill taking their captain and THB playing free worked to perfection for us. At some point their coach should have gone two up front, we were so comfortable.

I find it really strange that media outlets are already referring to him as the Burnley keeper (clearly he is but strange when there’s been no word as of yet from the club). The Sky sports match report refers to him as the Burnley keeper on multiple occasions.
You suggest he is clearly a Burnley player but he's not yet, his transfer has not gone through and I don't believe he's even gone through his medical as yet. Unless something goes wrong at the eleventh hour, I fully expect him to be revealed as a new signing, but that has very definitely not happened yet.
