Very underwhelming. But it was always going to be hard to live up to last season's kit.

Gone from one of the nicest home.shirts I can remember to one I'll want to quickly forget, first thought was why is Cullen in a Villa shirt, second was how plain and boring it is.
Put prices up too I hope we don't shift many

Hard to have a strong opinion on that at all. It's just a typical Burnley kit.

It does look like Villa, but isn't that why we play in Claret and Blue anyway?

It's incredibly basic, but they would all appear thus after last season.

I hope the away/third kits take a bit more of a risk.

I like that it’s plain and not like last season but the collar just doesn’t look right.

Just a kit innit, which is kind of the problem after last year's.

Shorts should be White with a Claret and Blue stripe. The shirt looks a little better in that picture than the Cullen one but not a patch on last season's.

I think it looks OK. I wasn't a fan of last year's when I saw the pre-release shots... but it grew on me.
This is a much safer, perhaps 'boring' shirt... I'm sure they'll shift a lot, and it will look decent when worn.

What's going on with the badge? I thought we had rebranded to monochrome now so was expecting that on the shirt (would have looked better IMO).

I always wonder what people are expecting. There’s only so much you can do if you want the basics to stay the same I.e. claret body and blue sleeves. I think the fact that we are now consciously ‘revisiting’ old designs show how limited the scope is.

The club badge hasn't changed at all - they are using the monochrome on website/social media etc.

I'm sure they will sell thousands of Home Shirts and for those concerned, it isn't anything like Villa's shirt for next season. Different collar, sleeves and Sponsor for those who haven't bothered to research before slamming in the negatives.

The only reason it looks like a Villa kit anymore than any of our previous kits is because of the sponsor.

I don’t mind it.

The blue shorts and Claret socks give it a sort of Scunthorpe/South Shields vibe.

Pretty poor from most perspectives - collar. Sponsor, badge placement etc

Still they should be pretty cheap given how little thought has gone into them

If you go on the Official site and click on the kit story, then click on the 'pre order' section you can see it on the store screen.

I might be missing something, but the only photo I can see which shows the design within the fabric is on the kid's shirt on the shop site.

None of the other photos in the news story have highlighted this, that I can see.

I actually like it from this photo, more so than from the launch photos (other than the DP logo)

Don't mind it personally but would prefer white shorts. It reminds me a bit of the late 70s early 80s Umbro kit when i think we played in blue shorts. The sort of Noble, Hamilton, Kindon kind of era.

As with most things, fairly frustratingly it’d probably look lovely either without or with a different sponsor’s logo.
