Brussels after the Genk game…
Is anybody heading into Brussels after the game, we were very “clever” and booked a hotel in Charleroi for easy access to the airport for Sunday morning, but I’m coming up blanks for getting from the game to the hotel, anybody heading that way either from the stadium or following the coach drop off….? Or have any suggestions other than a 80mile uber

Rome2Rio suggests train to Brussels and then train to Charleroi (approx£20)

The public holiday status means most trains stop before the game finishes.
Your suggestion works but we’d not get to Genk until after the last train departs

We’re going to get the train from Genk back to Brussels. Should make the 21:07 train back and be back in Brussels for 10:30ish.HarleSykeClaret wrote: ↑Fri Jul 21, 2023 9:59 amIs anybody heading into Brussels after the game, we were very “clever” and booked a hotel in Charleroi for easy access to the airport for Sunday morning, but I’m coming up blanks for getting from the game to the hotel, anybody heading that way either from the stadium or following the coach drop off….? Re: Brussels after the Genk game…
If you can get into Brussels (Midi ideally) by 10.30 as 1989_claret suggests (and the 21:07 train still looks to be running) then you can jump on the airport shuttle at 11.00 to Charleroi Airport (https://www.flibco.com/en/timetable)
I've used the Flibco buses quite a bit and they're decent to be fair.
