Just moved to the Fylde from the valley.
Used to get the X43 from Rawtenstall..no problem when living there.
Best place to park please, not too far from the Turf but to get back towards the M65.
I was looking at Tesco..but is there a time limit there?
Thanks

Usually at the top end of Plumbe Street junction with Parliament Street, a 10 minute walk but you are ahead of the traffic heading away

Sainsbury’s is 3 hours (or it was last season).
Not far from getting back on m65 - you just need to get back to your car pretty fast if you want to avoid the queues.
If you prefer to wait till after queues have gone after the match then might be better finding some off street parking. There’s plenty up Manchester Road around Christ the King church if you don’t mind walking up centenary way after the game.

My dad lives on Athletic St and you can always park there as long as you don't leave it too late. Need to be getting there about an hour before the game to be sure

If you use YourParkingSpace you can park on Tescos for longer.
For the City game you can park there from 7pm-10:30pm for £3.50.

It must be well worth £3.50 to park up in a relatively safe place with an easy after-match getaway.

Can’t fault the app. Always use it for parking at away games and lot cheaper & convenient than the “Matchday parking” you usually get near grounds

Park on Pheasantford Green and walk through Thompson Park (about 15mins). Straight down Barden Lane and onto the Padiham Bypass on the way back
