This seems to be Foster's level. Like a brand new signing

Thoughts so far:

Amdouni and Foster look electric. Koleosho raw but not far behind. O’Shea < Ekdal. Berge looks like he joined this week.

The match is going more or less as I expected. Lots of effort from our side but City have picked us off expertly. I think this will happen a lot this season. Not disappointed with our display but we're up against one of the best sides on the planet and can't expect too much.
I agree with you. I think this will be the pattern against all the top clubs. I'm hoping we pick up points against the weaker teams.

If you try to out football better teams, you tend not to win. When the roles reverse, the outcomes reverse. Let's hope a few of the 'weaker' teams turn up and play ball!

There has been a mention of this, that some players suit the PL more than the championship

Our lads will learn so much from this. In some respects, it’s a baptism of fire, but a brilliant first game to show us the sort of levels we need to compete against.

Not looking too out of place against these is hugely promising.

As good as City are, and they're excellent, the goals have been sloppy from our perspective.

But other than that, we've been very good and we'll be absolutely fine.
