What is whining about that comment? Like most people on this forum you can’t accept other people have other opinions.

Rodriguez has to hit the target there.

The spine has been weak today. When O'Shea is your strongest player, you're going to be struggling. Al Dak isn
t strong enough and needs to play alongside a more dominant player to get the best out of him.

Delcroix has made mistakes but has also had some crucial touches.

I thought Foster and Amdouni were both decent. Roberts has been OK. Trafford done very well since the 1st goal. Benson started brightly. The rest of the starting XI all looked a bit unfamiliar with what/where they were going.

At least we've scored!

City take late lead at Blades. I was concerned when I read Pep was missing the next 2. Players often down tools with out their leader.

A player who has been playing on the wing for 7 and half seasons at Burnley is not a winger?

Once we get in a LB or 2 he shouldn’t be anywhere near the team and that’s just a fact.

Well that, other than ten minutes in the second half, was atrocious. Kompany got the first half wrong, in terms of both shape and player selection. I have no idea what sort of side we want to be this season. Although of course, it took a while last season for things to gel. Then though I could see what the idea was. This time, I'm not so sure. We looked lost, slower and weaker than Villa today all over the pitch. Villa though are a very good side.

I am quite happy with the way we have played, especially second half. You have to take into account the level of opposition and the teams that are going to be round us won't have the pace and power Villa have up top. We have plenty of room for improvement with both players and manager. Have to give it time for these players to gel and Vinny to sort out his team and tactics. I wonder if he sometime overthinks things due to the depth he looks into the opposition.

Other than first 20/last 10 mins of 2nd half, we were clearly 2nd best

But
Foster scored
And their 3rd goal is obviously offside

Lots to be positive about
Lots to work on
At least 3 players looked massively off the pace

Against weaker opposition the scoreline will be closer & draws & narrow wins, Aston villa are a decent outfit & no mugs.
