In his debut for the national team, world cup in Brazil, he was 19 years old and people(not me) preferred him over Lukaku who was on fire at Everton back then. The coach started him the first games until big Rom made the statement against USA by getting the win.

He was always very technical very natural. Takes a ball with ease can dribble can score. His father Mike Origi was a good striker for Genk back in the 90's, early 2000. Son Divock therefore played at Genk youth after following Eden Hazard's footsteps going to Lille, also a club known to develop young players. He's been always a great talent. Can do anything on the ball.

At Liverpool, actually a too big step for him, he was trusted by Klopp as a lucky charm kind of striker, coming in from the bench and scoring the most important clutch goals.

This has done his career no good. He should have gone from Lille to a club where the team is built around him so he could develop as a player. What we're seeing now is a super talented player that never really ripened, never really played 40-50 games in a season, you can say wasted talent.

Raw talent that Kompany could mold. If he would play often he could find some stability, get more connections with his teammates, make the runs. Seems like a good move. He's played and excelled at the very highest level before. Still has his best years ahead of him. If the will is there to perform and improve...

Would definitely make us alot stronger. Another technically gifted player. Good headers too.
All this may be so but he seems to have had opportunities at two other clubs, Wolfsburg, loan from Liverpool aged 22 where he played 31 league games, scoring 6, and after his move to AC Milan where he played 27 league games, scoring 2. For Belgium he's played 32, scored 3. His best spell, was after LIverpool bought him and loaned him back to Lille, 33 games, 8 goals. He's never repeated anywhere near this.

He's now 28 and AC Milan don't seem to want him. Is he really an answer. What do we want from him that he can offer? Potential at 28?

Interesting article on the Athletic about Tresor yesterday, “I have always been a No 10 by nature,” Tresor told Transfermarkt in March. “I have always had this altruistic nature, this vision of the game, to serve my team-mates.”. Tresor sees himself as a No 10, but that didn’t stop him from racking up the goals and assists from the left wing last season. “Playing as a left-winger but still having this freedom to come inside and ask for the ball, that’s where I can bring the most to the team,” he told Eleven Sports. Starting on the left, Tresor often roamed inside when the ball was on the other side of the pitch, looking to overload the central areas and offer himself as a passing option.

Correct, that's what the article says, which is a direct contradiction of what you just said. :?
Not really. I think he will predominantly play off the left but during the game will drift (similar to what David silva used to do).

His position is still left wing though

Could we be witnessing the first player to come through KV Kortvik feeder club next year.

Looks like an ex Anderlecht youngster is going there this summer on loan with an obligation to buy.

Kana is the name I believe

Do loan to buy options mean you can write off part of the fee to get around FFP?

I liked THB, but I didn't think he looked better than Beyer, Ekdal or Al Dakhil. It wouldn't have made sense buying him, when we have McNally nurturing in the championship.

I really hope THB has a great season with the Saints, hopefully 2 promotions in a row.

Saints should also have kept Tella and brought in Maatsen, but key, brought in Muric. Promotion assured.

All that doesn't take away from his abilities. If you get picked over Lukaku and play up front with Salah and Mané you definitely know how to play football. If he's fit and willing to prove himself he'd definitely be a reinforcement for Burnley.

That AC Milan don't want him anymore doesn't mean anything. They also didn't want De Ketelaere and Saelemaekers anymore who are class players.

Apparently this move means they can bring in Sangare from PSV who seems a top defensive midfielder

I touted him as a VK signing at the start of the window and as someone I rate. Stalled a bit in recent years but that might be down to injury maybe. I’m sure our Belgian poster will be able to offer more on that one.

I always thought people joked about tracking flights, do folk actually do it? 😂 that’s madness

Haven't posted for a long, long time, but constantly view UTC, but had to log in to reply to this.

It was me that started the Flight Tracking back when Grosicki was on the verge of signing for us. However, the tracking of his flight only helped as he'd posted a photo on Twitter of himself stood next to the plane he was travelling on at the airport (can't remember which one specifically) in Poland. So it was just a case of locating the plane's number shown in the photo, on FlightTracker to be able to track it :D

Nothing against it at all, its all part of the fun of transfer deadline day, I'd not have a clue where to look :D

Chelsea now just £7.2m short of having spent £1bn on transfers since Boehly took over. That’s just three transfer windows!
And they still look crap.

AC Milan now in for Daka at Leicester. So we can rule that one out:

Might help someone get Origi though.

THB is a loan with a fee of 20m if promoted (so I read) surprised we not all over that one TBH.
Perhaps VK had a word with him and he refused to commit to playing as a winger ? :D :D :D :D :D

SSN reporting Luton looking like they’re going to be only club interested in taking Lokonga and will be making a loan bid in the coming hours.

Wonder if he’s now regretting giving us the run around.

Given the links to Messengo came early in the window, I do wonder if we’ve moved on him as an alternative to Lokonga

Alex Iwobi from Everton to Fulham, didn't expect that (if it goes through)
edit: turns out Everton are after Gnonto from Leeds
