Let’s have this right.
60% of the CFS left, probably less for the longside. To be fair for all the **** I give them, the Bob Lord stayed but didn’t sing as usual.
The few that were left in the CFS absolutely sung their hearts out. As did the Longside. I can barely speak now. Completely outsung the Spurs fans and they were rightly applauding us at the end as you say.
Certainly the atmosphere was better in the last 30 than it’s been in the previous two games.
If others couldn’t hear it on the TV, I’m really sorry. Come to TM and help create an atmosphere soon.
I think all the negativity left at 70 minutes, the people in the ground at full time wanted to watch Burnley for Burnley's sake, and I think that showed on the pitch.
I stayed til the end and this isn't me being in my high horse about it, you pay your fee you can do what you want for all I care.
I think we have a lot of young lads in this squad who are all away from home and we need to give them positivity, remember when we first went up under dyche and we'd concede and we'd applaud our team and try get them back in the game, now is no different. They need us to create a home for them.

This is true. Feel our fanbase feels far more entitled than it did after previous promotions.
Each to their own, but for me I enjoyed the atmosphere more after everyone had left than before. Love to clap the lads off regardless of the score.

People talk about the atmosphere but the players have to give you something to create atmosphere, when you have Trafford kicking it out of play or al-dakhil playing blind passes and the whole back line just trying their best to give the ball away it’s hard for the fans to get behind that

Most of the people in the JHU singing were the ones who sang when City pasted us with Laws. Same voices, same commitment.
