Be interesting to see how many of us think at what age our mental age started to lag behind our body age. In many ways I would say mid 20's but not for everything

Many thanks everyone,

Had a lovely day in TRAWDEN, with all my family, making pizzas outside. Great fun.

On arrival, the house was filled with washing lines and my parents had hung up all my early football shirts from the early 90s onwards. I am truly amazed that they’ve kept onto them but more amazed by the fact that I actually fit into shirts that I bought and wore between the ages of about 8 and 20.

I will be taking them home and wearing them from now on…after they’ve had a good wash.

I might look forty but thankfully, I don’t yet feel old. In fact, next year I’ll be running my first ever marathon (London) to raise money for blood cancer uk and any support (to come) would be hugely appreciated. But that’s for another day.

Happy birthday and seems a good time to give thanks for innovative voluntary things like Rate The Ref which gives many of us strangers some good entertainment and chat, a great feature that seems statistically meaningful and not done by many other club’s fans.

Take it from me, it is better to look over 40 and not feel old than the reverse! Sadly those days for me feel like yesterday but are long gone :D
