Lovely play gets us the corner but we don't scare anyone from there.

So is Trafford the worst goal keeper or keeping us in it?

I'm struggling to see past the agendas

Simple things this, not much to do with formation. Second balls, not sharp enough. Passing, too slow. Decision making, awful. They're still dreaming they have a second longer than they actually have. And in the absence of physicality, we should be at least sharper and quicker.

But I thought once we started playing teams outside the top six and top ten etc, we'd start winning some games?

To be fair if you come up and spend the way we did, you expect us to be at least competitive. This season we have only really competed on two of our Prem games so far. Luton and Forest. Been ripped apart in the others.

I’d demand my penny back, as that would obviously be a lie.

Berge is so so lazy . Cullen needs help with either Cork or Brownhill ( or both ) along side him .

I like to think Russell Ball is sat in the directors box shaking his head staring at our away fans, “this wouldn’t be happening if you had a drum”.

Good effort Zeki

Beautiful play nvolving Tresor and Amdouni shot. The ball to tresor was delightful but I dfidn't see who by. Corner leads to us having to defend again.

The sooner this game is over, the sooner the players can get back to giving sly little digs about the support in their midweek interviews.

Can only think those who can't remember a worse performance missed the 09/10 season and Dyche's last season.

I think the vast majority of players in the team are comfortably good enough for this league (unsure on O'Shea and too early to say on Odobert/Tresor) and are playing way, way below their standard.

Trafford has made good saves to keep the score down, but was awful on the goal.

Can we afford a young and inconsistent keeper? My judgment is no. Others are free to make up their own minds of course

Glad for the HT whistle.

We are desperate for some muscle in the niddle, right down the spine. Nice footballers but need a general on the pitch.

Trafford a few heebie jeebies but is keeping us in the game.

The stats are scary. Don’t know which is worse. Berge’s 8 passes. Their 12 shots within our 18 yard box. Mbuemu’s dribbles. Our heatmap. Dreadful, dreadful stats.

Need Cork on, beyond badly. Brownhill too. Berge off, Odobert off (for now). Tresor and Ambouni flanking Foster with those three midfielders behind. Kompany looking not good enough but is young, raw, but clever, and will learn fast. He’s now realising that 11 years at the top of this league as a player means naff all.

Amazingly, we remain in the game.

They're good saves but they're saves that every goalkeeper signed to a Premier League team should make every time.

We are very lucky to only be 1 down here. Can we now take advantage of their poor finishingto get back into this second half?

We have to learn to keep the ball, something we were so bloody good at last season. Now we are lucky if we can put 3-4 passes together.

We have been poor in comparison to the games at Luton or Forest. Kompany looking way too naive in his selections in my opinion.

He’s a good shot stopper. It’s the rest of his game where he is weak. That punch out was pathetic. The reaction save for the deflected shot was very good.

Give me a nice rounded steady goal keeper any day of the week, instead of a lower league shot stopper.

I don’t understand why we’ve taken our:

Possession based game
Short passes only
High defensive line
Get wingers on the ball as much as possible
Nominal Full backs moving into midfield in possession

Approach that had us touted as one of the best championship sides ever and replaced it with whatever the hell this is.
