… In your opinion and why?

Personally im finding it really hard to pick an initial system and lineup (mainly around specific responsibilities for midfielders).

It seems that no matter what a really talented player misses out.

For me so far

———————Muric
Roberts-AAD-Beyer-Taylor
———————Cullen
—————Berge——-Brownhill
Larsen———Foster—Zaroury

I find it mad to not be including Zeki who I think is genuinely class and Koleosho & Ramsey who I both really like.

Just feel that Zaroury’s crossing & passing ability are much higher right now but would be just as happy with Luca and his ability to relentlessly run at defenders.

Been impressed with Larsen every time he’s played - he’s quick, quick of thought and again has a good passing range but I guess that starting birth for the right wing spot is well and truly up for grabs.

Also wondering if we ever may see Beyer out at fullback if Roberts was ever injured/suspended (played there for Mönchengladbach and could probably execute the inverting role well), or even at RCB and bring Delcroix in at LCB (a natural left footer).
That team but Ekdal for al-dakhil

JBG, Cork, Berg
Benson, Foster, Zaroury
I'm not disagreeing but it's mind-boggling to me that we can spend so much money by Burnley standards and still be needing Cork and Gudmundsson in midfield.

Don't know about strongest but the next game I'd like to see
............Muric..........
Vitinho......Beyer......Ekdal......Taylor
..... Cork.......Massengo......
...........Berge........
Bruun Larsson..........Zaroury
........ Foster.......

Could make a case for Brownhill over Berge, centre backs are the toughest position we can't defend if fit the two I've chosen if not Al Dakhil and anybody cos O'Shea and Delcroix aren't up to it

----------------------Unsure, lean Muric
Unsure, lean Roberts - Ekdal - Beyer - Taylor
-------------------cullen -- Unsure, any of Brownhill/Berge/JBG
Benson/Larsen ---------Amdouni/Larsen --------Zaroury/Koleosho/Larsen
-------Foster

I'm not sure who our strongest 11 is, but in many cases that's because I've not seen enough of all the players at this level, except bizarrely the ones who definitely aren't good enough.

Kompany simply isn't giving some players enough opportunity this year to tell either way.

It's regressive, but I think Cork has to come back in
and Berge should not be starting other than as a nr 10.

Muric
Vitinho Ekdal Beyer Taylor
Cork Cullen
Brownhill
Benson foster Zaroury

At the moment off what we have seen last year and this I’d go with.

When all fit I’d go with:

Muric
Roberts
Taylor
Beyer
Ekdal
Cork
Cullen
Berge
Zaroury
Benson
Foster

January we need to look at signing two full backs, an experienced centre half and a younger version of Cork.

Two sitting midfielders from Cullen, Brownhill and Cork has to be absolutely fundamental in our setup.
As does playing fullbacks in their natural positions.
We also need at least one more disciplined wideman to play (JBG, JBL or perhaps Zaroury who knows the system)
There are games we will find really difficult this season, but in 5 of our 10 games so far we have left ourselves hugely exposed from the outset and that is a real worry, we've made it so easy for the opposition in those games (Villa, Spurs, Chelsea, Brentford and to a slightly lesser extent City).
Hopefully our managerial team learn quickly as we have enough to survive but its going to be a battle. One at the minute we aren't setting ourselves up well enough for.

Muric
Roberts Ekdal Beyer Taylor
Cork Cullen
JBG Brownhill JBL
Foster

That would be my strongest team with what we’ve currently got.

Only 1 summer signing included and that’s the cheapest one. Says absolutely everything you need to know about some of the absolutely disastrous business we’ve done for obscene and eye-watering amounts of money.

The one thing I know is that we really, really have to stop playing Amdouni/Ramsey in midfield because neither is good enough off-ball and is pretty much useless when we defend. In Championship that works as we've seen last season but it's obvious that it doesn't apply to PL football. Kompany used to play 3 classic midfielders in the first half of last season and I think he should do the same at the moment. Cullen, Cork/Brownhill and Berge who can play slightly advanced to compensate the fact that he is simply too slow and always half a meter away from opponents.

Trafford should also be benched. He is not our biggest problem but I have to agree that I feel like I did when Hart used to play for us. The good thing is we had Heaton to replace him back then, let's give Muric a chance and pray that he can replicate that.

Problem with our wingers is that most of them are poor when we don't have the ball and struggle to complete their defensive duties. There's a reason why JBG used to start while he was available. He is not as exciting as Odobert or Koleosho but you know that he will keep running and helping his full-back. Maybe Redmond can do that? Another problem is that a lot of them are inconsistent. Odobert was brilliant in the first half against Chelsea but didn't do much today. Same can be said about Koleosho. Nothing unusual given their age. I would also like to see JBL finally starting. His playstyle is similar to Tella's and that's something we are really missing.
