The first line was so clearly wrong. Very marginal either way but that line was just a shambles.

They have overturned their original decision of it stands to not standing. I hoe they got this right. But commentators are adamant burnley goal should have stood based on lines

They've said he's onside, then they've re drawn it from a different angle to back up the on pitch decision.

Absolutely disgusting. I hate the Premier league. Don't care what the correct decision was or is that's shocking.

Offside rule needs a massive overhaul like wenger is trying to introduce. What advantage does jay get there by being 2mm infront of the defender?

Any credibility VAR had left has been obliterated with that. 2 lines that contradict one another. Farce.

Switch to a different camera angle so they can give it as offside.

If it's so marginal like that aren't you supposed to benefit the attacker? Rodriguez feet were by far onside, his head ever so slightly off.

The focus will be on the process of that VAR decision and it rightly should be to an extent. But let's not forget that if that goal had been given it would've been about as much against the run of play as you can possibly ever get. We've been bad.

we could always not be 2-1 down? I suppose that would help more than VAR drawing lines?

So he was onside on their original angle, but then he needed another angle so they could dissallow it??? They are quite literally looking for ways to take our goal away. No way they look for that second line/angle if we are man city, Man It's, arsenal etc. Cheats.

So you draw lines that say onside, don’t like the outcome, so draw them again to say offside? Surely that makes a total mockery of the system. It’s also the first time I e ever seen that and hey, it’s us!!

And the camera that was perpendicular to the pitch said correct yet the one at an angle said off.

I think it was off to be fair, but that was a joke

It’s a shame they don’t spend that amount of time getting to the ‘correct decision’ on every single goal or decision.

Mepham's hand stopped Berge from having proper contact with the original cross.

If that’s the case and he scores with his head fair call. Score with your feet and not. Basically var has ruined he game. Id have been happier standing with refs call’s. Rather than have a 7minute stoppage for some random guys who cant draw lines to try to make up their minds
