Only seen Carets+ Replay and I wasn't too impressed.

On seven minutes a Bournemouth defender goes straight through Amdouni, no foul given (it is a blatant foul), but then a Bournemouth player is tapped on the back of the leg and they, rightly, get a foul.

I thought Taylor was fouled for their first goal - he attempts to kick the ball, with his left foot of course, but Semenyo interferes with that, Taylor goes down and Semenyo scores (a nice finish no doubt). For the second, Vitinho is fouled, not much it's true but he is held for a short time - it's a foul. It may not affect what comes next but so what.

We lost on merit but that doesn't excuse poor decision making by the referee.

Thought he did well to be honest generally and I can't believe anyone can think either of their goals comes from a foul. He was badly let down by Stockley Park.

I wasn't there so can't score. But I do think the first goal looked like a foul on Taylor. I'd have to watch a few more times to confirm, but a fairly level headed friend of mine is certain its a foul for both goals. The second looks much less obvious at first glance though.

Put it this way
We deserved to lose
The ref was pretty good
VAR massively let him down for the handball (it's impossible to see in real time. But blatant on slow mo)
